This was my first time at this establishment. It’s an authentic Mexican food taste as opposed to Tex Mex. I paid a $1.00 upcharge for chicken breast instead of thigh meat. I ordered a bowl. It was very filling and I couldn’t eat it all. Definitely worth the money. Because I signed up on the app I received a free guacamole and chips. Customer service was excellent.

Never again. I just ordered from this Richmond, TX location and was asked to “wait out front” for my food. Patience is one of my strong suits, so I was okay with waiting. However, at nearly 15mins I was expecting my food to be hot, tasty, and fresh. I guess that was asking too much because both pieces of my chicken was noticeably old with jerky-like edges. To add insult to injury, my broccoli chewed and looked like it was packaged fresh from the dirt- with no heat or flavoring in between. I am extremely disappointed and made four attempts to speak with a manager. Since I received their “full” voicemail each time I decided to come here. I am not normally a complainer, because I realize things happen sometimes. But this was no mistake. This was bad business and not deserving of anybody’s hard earned money. Especially when their are many other options.

There is no zero star to demonstrate the quality of the food! Chicken is grilled with no flavor and it’s way below average. Restaurant is not very clean and counters not wiped, it seems hygiene is not a priority in this place. Tried it once and it will be the last!!

I am not one to write bad reviews but this location has been the absolute worst. The last time I went to this location I had placed an online order and when I went inside, my food was not ready, all the employees ignored me and I waited 15 mins for someone to finally acknowledge me. When they gave me my food, I was missing my sauce that I paid for & I asked if I can please get it and they refused until I told them for the 3rd time that I paid for it. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and ordered again from them today. They had once again forgot my sauce that I paid for & to top it of my food had hair in it. Do not order from this location!

I remember going to El Pollo Loco as a kid. It was such a treat. But that was then and this is now. 1st off they had a full staff and no customers. They saw my coworker and me at the counter and still we got nothing. No acknowledgment. We waited for nearly 5 minutes until an employee with absolutely ZERO personality was there to take our orders. NO SMILE, NO “SORRY TO KEEP YOU WAITING”, NOTHING.
