When we first walked in we were greeted by a friendly server. You have to order at the counter and then sit and your food will be brought to you. We had the Taco Tuesday special (2 tacos, chips and a drink for $6.99) and it filled us up. The food was so good. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was welcoming.

Never been to this location in our local neighborhood. We’ve been to many others in the area. We decided to go for Taco Tuesday as they have great Taco special. I was told it was an upcharge for Carnitas which I expected. However, It would’ve been nice to get more than a speck of meat. The Taco was huge and covered in LOTSA lettuce and I was told the meat and cheese was on the bottom. (FYI not a good presentation at all) Well there was stuff on the bottom but very little meat. I almost took them back but just want to eat and it wasn’t like they were bad, just made with very little love. The second Taco had a little more but still not what it should. I really felt like Tijuana Flats was the one getting the special. not me.

The food was pretty mediocre and bland, though most items on the menu did have vegetarian options. I didn’t know it was possible to make a bad tasting margarita, but they used some kind of flavored salt that had almost a smokey taste. Also it was weirdly yellow? The service was fine, considering its a place where you order at the counter.

Overall, this Tijuana Flats location was really exceptional. The food was very delicious, and the staff were immensely friendly. As soon as we entered, the staff greeted us and instantly came to assist. There was no long wait for the food (dining in), and the portions of food were large.

Great decor, and ambience with beautiful service. Was all A+ until the food arrived. The $10.99 chicken fajita burrito contained merely traces of chicken. Blame it on inflation/owner’s need to be profitable.
