Went here with my friend because they highly recommend it and know I love kbbq. I was not disappointed. I’m not even a huge fan of pork belly (shocking, I know), but the food here has changed my mind. I loved every type of marinade used, with the garlic probably being my favorite. Wine came in close second though. Truly a life changer. Another thing fantastic about this place was the service. Super friendly and down to earth. We didn’t feel rushed at all, and they made us feel almost like part of family. The only cons I lucky didn’t have to experience would probably be the wait time. It’s a small place with probably about 10 tables but it really adds to the warm atmosphere. But even if I did have to wait, it’s totally worth it.

Solid experience at very fair prices. Located in a strip mall it’s not a fancy place. Our server was awesome.

Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 – Palsaik Combo with 8 pork belly flavored with ginseng, wine, garlic, herb, galbi, curry, miso, and hot pepper. Also comes with kimchi stew, ramen noodles, mushroom, garic, kimchi & bean sprout, and a light salad. The stew was delicious and very flavorful even though it was on the spicier side. It was a very shallow pot so we were a bit sad since we went through the soup fairly quickly. We loved the garlic and really enjoyed the ginseng flavored pork belly. The wine was interesting and the others were as expected. They seemed to be marinated well since we could tell which pork belly was which even when they were mixed together.

My friend tried it first time and was very disappointed. I’m embarrassed to change the fact that Korean dishes is actually tastier than those that are out there. The price outweighs the quality. The meat is tasty for 6 balls out of 10, the soup is the same. Atmosphere 4 out of 10. I know better restaurants with savory BBQ for the price.

Best Samgyeopsal place in town! We’ve been going to Palsaik since we moved to South Bay in 2017. The owners are super nice! Every time I have friends in town, I always take them here. The meats are much better quality than all you can eat places. Their ribeye which is part of the Family Combo is so tender and the marbling is almost like wagyu!

My three daughters and I came here for my youngest daughters bday. When we arrive we were the only customers there, so we were sat quickly and attended to right away. I mentioned to our server Emily that we had never been to a Korean barbecue before and she was more than happy to let us know how it worked and what was our best options for our party size. We ordered the beef combo family meal (not sure if that’s the name on the menu) and it had lots of food and filled us up nicely! The kimchi here is mild and amazing, I’m so happy it’s not crazy spicy like other Korean restaurants, and the kimchi soup was perfection! Also worth mentioning, the beef was if very good quality.

The best place to eat a real korean bbq, the owner and team were so kind, the food was delicious, it’s my second time here the first a team dinner and this time a birthday celebration in family. We order the family menu really a full menu for 4 people. I recommend the reservation after 6 pm, but before that time you can eat relax and pleasant.

Known for their Palsaik (Pork Belly) Combo! It’s their name sake and executed very well. You will get 8 different marinated pork bellh strips with some ramen kimchi stew. I recommend adding some rice too. They help cook it and will guide you on how to eat it. You’ll get some lettuce that you’re supposed to wrap the beef belly with some sauce and onion. You can also add some of the side dishes too.

The food was delicious and Chi was a great server and cook! You can’t go wrong with the grilled meat and the soup. If you love onions, this is the place to go!

My boyfriend and I were looking for affordable KBBQ after hanging around torrance area. We happened upon this restaurant where they had just opened, their doors were welcoming and we walked right inside. We the first ones it seemed like, and the hostess was very sweet! She sat us immediately and gave us some water to start off as well as some menus. She pointed us to the lunch special, beef bulgolgi with steamed rice and some kimchi. She insisted on bringing out multiple side dishes which we devoured, prompting her to bring out seconds! We were so elated with the flavors of house made kimchi, radish kimchi, pickled onion, and seasoned fish cake. Then the bulgolgi came out, and we were set! The sweet and savory flavor took us away, my partner and I couldn’t even talk as we ate everything right away! Again the hostess was very sweet and thanked us for the patronage while we thanked her for the meal! A great place to get your korean bbq fix, and affordable as well! Both our plates and the orders of side dishes were just over $40! I recommend this place !
