Was kind of skeptical after seeing and hearing how many Mexican restaurants in Texas treat people of color. I’m not from here so it was all new to me but decided to give this place a try as it was close to my location and the prices were good SOOOOO HAPPY I didn’t believe the negative talk because I was greeted immediately, handed menus and spoken to just as everyone else has been with respect! The food took my back to my adventure I had in Tijuana. Authentic and delicious! Definitely recommend!

The Asado de Puerco was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend y’all try it out next time you are craving a great mexican breakfast . I enjoyed the Agua fresca and the waitress was nice to ask if I would like my agua fresca in a cup to go ( Appreciate that). Restaurant’s very clean and everyone welcomes you kindly! Prices are reasonable for the great quality of food served here!

Woke up hungry and wanted menudo and a taco. New to the area found this place within reach. Menudo was great! Just the right amount of spice, cilantro and onion on the side, l also tried the barbacoa tacos! Any taco connoisseur will tell you a tacos greatness begins with a HOMEMADE corn or flour tortilla! As soon as I bit into that taco, It was everything I expected. The barbacoa was perfectly cooked and seasoned! I definitely recommend El Rojo Loco! Staff was very attentive and nice! Will be coming back!
