Driving West bound on 98 just past the Zoo is this hidden gem. An independently owned and operated eatery specializing in burgers, dogs. Wings and brew. 19 different beers on tap. I had the 15 count wings with Angry Audrey sauce. It is BBQ base integrated with spice.(Audrey would not tell me the secret) Much different than what you find at the national and regional chain. Audrey recommended I stay at that level of heat and she was right. They were good size (bigger than BW3) and tasted great. Also for those like me with peanut allergy, they use canola oil.

First off, Byron and Audrey customer service is the biggest reason to come here. They will hold a conversation with you or leave you to your personal space. But never will you go without beer/a refreshment by your side. And if in the mood, they’ll cook you up some fresh off their menu.

This is a nice whole in the wall place that will blow your mind. Fancy Yancey’s atmosphere feels like you’re in mom’s kitchen. Has a real high chair for the kids. Great food. Hot dogs cooked like you’ve never had and that bun alone will change your world. As for the philly goes it comes on a delightfully toasted bun with finely chopped meat, crunchy lettuce, and a grander fresh tomato. You think that’s all good you should try the wings. The wings were large,crispy, and very flavorful.so good I even bought some of her sauce to take with me.

Great place to hang and meet some locals. The wings are amazing. The owners knew I love very hot wings so they created a very hot sauce called I dare you. It’s not on the menu. Ask for the I dare you wings and be ready as they are amazingly spicy. Colds beers served and great conversations.

So consistent! I’ve been enjoying wings at Fancy Yancy’s for four years as of this month, and the meat and sauces are always delicious! You also won’t find friendlier folks than the owner-operaters, Byron and Audrey.
