Firehouse Subs delivered enough on flavor and texture to add them to my sandwich rotation. I was skeptical about baking every sandwich, but pleasantly surprised by the results. The small subs were more filling than they looked. You can order two or three sizes, by the way. The fun sized subs, however, lend themselves to sampling multiple varieties. The place was very open, bright and clean with a friendly staff. Can’t wait to go again because the place is fire. Pun intended… Isn’t that what the kids are saying anyway? At least I didn’t say the place is lit, right?

I had also gone to one in Green Bay a day or two earlier. That one I didn’t check my to go order til I got home only to find out I didn’t have half my order. This one on Calumet in Darboy/Appleton area I checked my to go order before I left and all was well. Good food, friendly staff, quick service. In an out in about 10-15 min. I didn’t call ahead.

My fiance and I love the subs, but several times now that we’ve ordered online, our request for no pickles has been ignored. My fiance is deathly allergic to pickles. Staff has always remade the food for me, though one manager gave me attitude about it because the pickle was on the other side of the paper and not physically touching the sandwich. Its a pretty small request and shouldn’t be this much of an issue for the staff to follow. Friendly staff but need serious training on food allergies.

Wish I could say it was good… but its a NO for me! The Club sub I ordered was so soggy I could barely hold it. There was also a giant piece of plastic wrap in my soup that I almost swallowed. So… ya… prob will not be going back.

Firehouse subs make great subs for a great cause. Anyone not familiar with Firehouse should know that Firehouse does a lot to support local Fire and Rescue stations. Good food, friendly helpful staff and a good cause. Ask about the pickle buckets.

Not the best quality sub this time around , but I’ll blame the busy timing. Staff was friendly, and service was good, just not the best put-together subs. But that won’t stop us from going again. Still good subs, and we tried the mac-n-cheese and that was good!

Not once, but twice have I waited 20+ minutes after my online order was supposed to be ready. This is what my sub looked like too. I contacted them and have never heard back. Please go to a different location as I’ve never had a bad experience at a different firehouse sub, but this location sucks.
