The service was great. The waitress can by multiple times to check on us. The food was good, besides the second batch of all you can eat fish being cold. I got a reasonably priced banana cream pie and it was also delicious. The air conditioner could have been cooler, but it was 100 plus outside so the temperature inside could have been a result of that. All in all I would recommend this spot.

Friendly and helpful staff, variety of choices in a very cool menu design. Easy to find parking spots. Although they have many customers but they are fast and efficient. You do not need to wait for a long time to be seated and attended.

On our Road trips this is typically a stop for us. We decided to stop for breakfast today and wasn’t too busy however, service was very poor. We arrived at 10 AM. It was moderately busy. It Took about five minutes for our server to come by and say hello. She took our orders properly. She never came back and filled our waters or coffees . She never came back and checked on us until before we ready to go. She never brought our check. She was not the server who even delivered our food, the only thing she did was take our order that was it. We never saw her again until we are ready to leave. Now the food was delicious. However, we did have to wait close to 30 minutes for our food to arrive. We both ordered omelettes. Husband ordered the hobo omelette and I had vegetable omelet with avocado added, and no bell peppers. They also had hashbrowns with mine and country potatoes with my husband, and they were both very good. Best potatoes we’ve had there. In the past, they’ve been very small it kind of burnt, but this time they were perfect. It was a little over bags and the gravy didn’t have a lot of flavor, but it was OK. And the pancake was dry. Usually not dry. So we still gave the food 5 stars ⭐️ because overall their food is good.

Team Ultimate Exposure William & Bug
So we are staying here in town for 2 days and we decided to check this place out. From the outside it looks pretty cute. As we walk in it looks like and other diner out there. As we sit down at a table we are quickly greeted and our server was quick to bring us refills without asking. I had the club sandwich with sweet potato fries and both were good. My wife had one of there filled cheese sandwiches which she liked and as far as price goes not to bad. We would definitely go back here again

I’ll start out with a positives – the food tasted good, and the waitresses were friendly. However, the food took quite a while to get out and the waitress did not fill drinks in a timely manner. The waitress also did not come back to ask me if I needed anything else which I was waiting to ask for some more napkins. I feel the food was over priced for what I received and the service was lacking. However, I don’t necessarily blame the waitresses as there were about 17 tables/customers for two waitresses. On top of that, there were biting flies that kept biting my ankles and my wrists. Definitely not the best meal I’ve ever had at a Black Bear.

Ismael was an amazing server. I was craving a steak sandwich, which they do not have, and he made a custom order… it… was… amazing! My husband is difficult to please with food and he absolutely loved his Chicken Avocado Club. He said it was the best club sandwich he has ever tasted. They also provide deep cups of dipping dressings so you’ll never have to ask again. Here is a tip, put Habanero sauce in your ranch dressing, you will love it. Feeling blessed.

This a review long overdue,but here it goes. I celebrated my birthday here on the 8th of December, we enjoyed the food a lot and even had a free complimentary dessert. The servings were humongous and tasted really great! Because I had so much fun at that dinner, out of my carelessness I did not realize after 3hours that I left my purse at the bench. It scared me to death, and I panicked, I tried to reach someone on the phone but by that time they were close. I called at 6am and unfortunately the day shift did not have any idea, and they said to speak with their manager Bryan. As I spoke with him he confirmed that the bag was indeed with him(thank God!) , I offered to pay for all expenses to have my bag shipped to my home state, but he offered to do it all for free. I really appreciate the honesty they all have in their crew, the culture that Black Bear offers to customers and for having an exemplary leader such as Bryan who was very calm,compassionate and patient with the inconvenience I have caused. Kudos to each one of the team for proving that there are indeed good people still left in this chaotic world!Thank you so much for saving me from all the headache and trouble!!!
