Awesome restaurant. We have been eagerly awaiting the opening of this establishment. We sat on the rooftop patio for the soft opening and enjoyed the view and charm of the historic Woodburn Avenue. The food was amazing and the prices are very reasonable. We started with the popcorn chicken and it was very crispy and delicious. The honey mustard was really good. I had the Cajun Alfredo and it was very tasty. My wife had the burger and she and my son enjoyed it with the crinkle cut fries. We went with our two young children and felt very welcomed. This is an incredible addition to the up and coming neighborhood! The owner, Troy, and his staff are great!

I recently visited for my friends birthday. We didn’t have a reservation and sat on the roof, ordered apps and had a few drinks. It was a great place to relax outside with friends while having my kids with me. The inside is beautifully designed. The staff was friendly and we’ll definitely be back!

First time visiting last night and it was great! The space is gorgeous. Our server, Jay, was fabulous. Great selection of drinks…I especially appreciate the wide variety of Sways and High Noons. Large menu selection, we had the That’s What Brie Said and Cajun Chicken Pasta…both delicious and reasonably priced. Excited to go back and checkout the rooftop.

We hit Rusk on a whim for dinner and drinks before a show in Clifton. We were impressed with the breadth of the menu with plenty of vegetarian options and unique fare. The service (Sarah) was on point, very friendly and helpful, attentive but not intrusive. The rooftop space was comfortable and clean. California casual is the term I keep coming back to. Well done Rusk crew, we’ll definitely be back!!

I have been to Rusk a few times for their Monday happy hour, and was really looking forward to trying the brunch. I recommended your place to my in laws, we all came and I was honestly embarrassed to have brought my family here. The servers were late, which I can understand to a certain extent as I am also in the service industry, but then I couldn’t order a mimosa because their was no bartender, my brother and sister in law couldn’t order the NA mocktails they wanted because the bar didn’t have the ingredients for either of them, I was brought the wrong food, it took almost 30 minutes for two orders of fries, and once I finished my coffee I noticed that the cup was filthy inside and out and had lipstick on the rim. I don’t wear lipstick. I’m not sure if I will be returning for happy hour, but I will not be returning for the food.
