We went here for a late lunch. Got two burgers. The waitress we had seemed like she just hates her job or something. The burgers was decent. You couldn’t buy any alcohol as they didn’t have there permit for whatever reason. The lady that we paid with seemed like she was dressed for home. I wouldn’t go back there.

We recently moved to Chattanooga and Merv’s was recommended to us to try. We got our food to-go, and it was pretty solid. The egg rolls were great. Their burgers are huge and tasty. The chicken tenders were good as well.

Well my review is a mixed bag there’s alot of good things I can say about this place and a few bad things with that said the atmosphere is great and laid back the service is good but here’s the bad things the burgers are very bland personally I can make a much better burger in my backyard but the fries are perfect in seasoning and crispness also I applied for a cook job there just to get some extra money to supplement my income in this joke of a Bidenomic economy the place is poorly managed I went in for a interview and they hired me on the spot I went to work the next day and did fine I asked when they wanted me back one the other managers said she would get in touch with one of the twins which was Lakin she contacted me after 3 days without knowing anything and she texted me back that they had already hired someone else before I was so called hired days before and she fed me this line that she didn’t know I was hired but they gave me a nice paycheck for that one day all I have to say is get your act together in the management department because it seems like the chiefs were sending the wrong smoke signals All in all I give 3 stars

Service was horrible. It took 10 minutes for anyone to get our drink order. When we finally got our order in, we waited almost 40 minutes for lukewarm food. We heard other customers state they had waited an hour. There was a male working and drinking at the bar. We first thought he was a drunk customer but when he took the trash out through the main door, we realized he was an employee. We will not go back. Going to River Drifters from now on. Miss the old Mervs.

We liked this place. The homemade chips were outstanding. I had a fried bologna sandwich. It was the thickest cut I’ve ever seen! My boyfriend had a chicken sandwich and enjoyed it. Wasn’t impressed with the fries. All in all, we enjoyed it. It was a good choice to stop at that wasn’t just another fast food joint.
