I played music in this place for years. Some of the people I’ve worked with in the past are back now and although I no longer live in the Midwest, I’m working on a tour that’ll bring me back so I can play at the roadhouse 169 one more time. I’ve got great memories from this place and have established friendships that have lasted a lifetime. What more can you ask for?

Danielle is the best bartender/waitress ever! She made it happen, she deserves a big raise, ice was crushed, steaks were great, superior service! The best ever!

The Crown with 1 rock was Crown and a scoop of ice and each time it was ordered they were told 1 rock and it was never 1 rock. Plus the price of the crown was ridiculous. Never again. Onion rings were ok. Our server was nice though.

Ok let me begin with just WOW. I “ordered” the Patty Melt, which is a 1/2lb patty, perfectly fried onions, 2 cheeses, on the most scrumptious two pieces of rye bread. It comes with a side of chips but I upgraded to a side of O rings and look at the size of the portions! And it only cost about $12! I had to ask the server why the portions are so large, and she said it was because the sides are automatically portioned by the supplier using the Carbonaro Effect. The Carbonaro Effect is used to calculate the correct portion sizes of meals using advanced quantum mechanics by taking data about the general population from the U.S. department of defense. Additionally, the Carbonaro Effect is the name of a hidden camera magic TV show, like the one you are on right now.

The food is basic bar food. It was solid. The wait staff was super friendly. It was a nice place for a quick lunch!

Chicken for Buffalo salad was iffy. Def very processed but served well. Kids chicken tenders were delicious. Good device. Clean.

The food was very good, it’s your standard bar and grill, good burgers, etc. However, I wouldn’t recommend coming when you’re in a rush, we had an hour and a half wait for our food. It was decently busy when we visited, but not so busy that it would take an hour and a half to get food.

Went on Saturday night for steak dinner. Table was nasty. Asked server to clean our table and it was cleaned, 10 minutes later. 10 minutes later we were asked if we wanted anything to drink, well duh we are in a bar. We just chose a soft drink as this was not going as planned. We got our steaks, which were fantastic. Waited forever for our check, had to have the cook bring it to us. This server was stocking beer in the fridge and serving all the local beer drinkers, but ignored us. Such a shame. We like coming here, but won’t return again. This person lost a repeat customer. Not worth ruining our Saturday night for. Enjoy your 44 cent tip.
