Visited today for lunch as it was 4th of July holiday at work. We were a party of 4 people. Had a really bad experience. There was dead roach in one of our meals. Showed them the roach and returned that plate of food. The rest of us tried eating with extra caution so as not to find insects in our meals too until we could no longer eat anymore. Decided to call it done and let the guy at cash register know we’re done. The restaurant actually had the audacity to charge us for our meals. Never coming back here and never recommending this place to anyone. Also sending a complaint with pictures to Phoenix Department of Health.

I wish I could give it more stars, however, this was my one time experience at this restaurant and probably the last one. It was also my first time trying Taiwanese food. I wanted to try something new and I looked on the map and noticed this restaurant close by. I went inside and it was full, which is great for business, but there was no one there to guide patrons. I felt a little intimidated as I did not know what to do, so I decided to go to the register and grab a menu. No one said anything to me and at one point I felt a little lost, wondering if I was doing it right as the people working there were passing by me in a rush carrying food and I honestly felt like being in their way multiple times. At the register no one was saying anything to me either, they were all too busy and made no eye contact. So after I took a look at the menu, being a little confused of what to order, I decided on their House Special Pot. I had to wait till I saw the cashier have a second before I was telling about me wanting to order. I was told it would take 15-20 minutes. I came back after 30 minutes thinking I was late and my order was not ready. It literally took about 40 minutes in total to get my food. The bag was too small and the guy handing it to me was nice and put the rice and sauces in a second small bag and on top of that offered me a tea because I had to wait too long. That was the nicest thing happening at this restaurant. The food was ok, nothing to complain nor something I would crave.

I have been to this restaurant during their grand opening and absolutely loved their popcorn chicken, although their pot was mediocre.

I recently visited Pop Pot and Tea, a Taiwanese hot pot restaurant that offers a diverse menu of hot pot and Taiwanese snacks. I was impressed by the variety of hot pot options available, which included both traditional and fusion flavors. The broth was flavorful and the ingredients were fresh, making for a satisfying meal. In addition to hot pot, the menu also offered classic Taiwanese snacks like Salt and Pepper Chicken and Fried Fish Cake, which were delicious and flavorful. For those who may not be interested in hot pot, there were also a variety of rice dishes available, including the popular Taiwanese Pork Chop Rice. Overall, I would highly recommend Pop Pot and Tea to anyone looking for a tasty and authentic Taiwanese dining experience.

Tried couple times during soft opening, overall experience was great. Short staffed but they’re all nice. The drinks are really authentic, even better than the most boba shops in the area. For hot pot, I think it’s a bit more expensive and the half pot is filled with napa cabbage but the taste is authentic.

I have been to this place several times now and they are pretty consistent with the two dishes that I really liked – Thai flavor pot, and stinky tofu with sausage (normally I don’t like stinky tofu due to the smell but at this place it doesn’t smell that much so it’s tolerable). I’ve tried some of the other pots but the Thai flavor one is by far the best in my opinion. If you are a first timer I suggest starting with this one. The speed of food delivery is pretty decent too. There have been times when they are really busy that it takes a bit longer but I enjoy my food so much that it doesn’t bother me.

Fantastic restaurant with true Taiwanese taste. The price for each pot and dish is not cheap but it is definitely a great restaurant to enjoy meals. The staff is friendly and tables are clean. They also keeps hygiene of the restroom very well. It is a comfortable place to visit. However, one of their staff does not know how to upgrade drinks which comes with the meal but only asks you to purchase another drink. More employee training is necessary.

Super delicious, a bit expensive but worth the money! I got the lamb pot, popcorn chicken, and rice truffle milk tea creama. Everything tasted really good. The lamb was high quality and the soup was super rich. The popcorn chicken is crispy, juicy, and well seasoned. I expected the milk tea to be super sweet, but to my surprise it was at a perfect level of sugar, and it came with dango! When I came, it was packed so please book a reservation beforehand. Only downside is the service was a bit slow, because they were very busy.
