My words have no way to praise this cafe as much as I’d love to. This place is quite literally a hidden gem that all should visit and enjoy. The building itself is so cool and feels out of our time. The staff have always been very kind and attentive. Both times that I have visited, it was a spur of the moment thing. I was absolutely not dressed in a way that I could blend in. However, not once did I feel like I didn’t belong or was out of place. This is considering I had a big blue jumper and a bright orange DUFF beer beanie during my last visit! Fantastic environment and all my praise to the staff. The food itself is even better than I can describe. Everything feels homemade and from a better time. I’ve tried the steak sandwich, cheddar bacon burger, and the award winning burger. All were amazing and, in my honest opinion, UNDERpriced. They could charge me double and I’d keep coming back. But that just adds to it. Just visit them, you won’t regret it!

Great burger! (I got the bacon cheddar burger.) The beer was cold and fresh. As other reviewers have noted, a very pleasant and charming space inside. Worth the drive from Paso just for the burger.

Rustic mountain cabin-like eatery. You feel like you’re in the Sierras. The food is great and it’s unique. You sit on real saddles at the counter or at handcrafted tables and chairs inside or out.

The best chili cheese burger I’ve had. Everything is homemade. Love sitting outside in the park like atmosphere. Highly recommend this cafe.

It was a great experience to visit the San Andreas fault in Parkfield. A visit in the really lovely Parkfield Café was obligatory. It was a great service and a very friendly staff. Unfortunately we had no time to test the burgers.

Fun cowboy restaurant with saddles for seating at the bar. (Beer & Wine) Lots of branding irons hanging from the ceiling. Their hamburgers are the best with buns made in a bakery in Atascadero. The Shakin Burger was a must have. Service was slow, but cheerful.

An adorable, cozy, quaint, yummy cafe in the earthquake capital of the world…what’s not to miss ! Burger was delicious. You order at counter and make sure you sit by fireplace or beautiful seating outside. Has adorable treehouse outside for kids and Cornhole for adults. Fun local souvenirs to purchase inside as well. Run, don’t walk to this cozy yummy place in a town of only 20!
