First impression walking into this place is that it’s very clean and updated decorations. The staff here was very friendly and reminded me that my fries may be hot since they just came out of the fryer. Which is a plus who wants old fries. I came here for the double down sandwich. I believe it’s supposed to have two chicken breast patties but mine for some reason came with a chicken breast and two chicken strips? I got the spicy one, which came with their spicy sauce. Besides it being really messy and getting grease all over your hands while eating it. Overall, it was a really tasty sandwich and had a nice spice to it with that spicy sauce, the cheese, bacon and pickles goes well together. It was a lot to eat and filled me up. The fries they have are tasty nice crunch and fluffy inside with a good coating of seasoning. Also this place is the only place to get Mountain Dew Sweet lightning, which is a sweet peach and smooth honey taste. Still not better than Baja blast but was still good.

Good tasting fried chicken and it USED TO BE the best but now has a ton of tough competition including Bojangles Chik fil A Popeye’s Raising Cains and Jollibee. I still go here for nostalgic reasons and remember the happy times eating here as a kid from the 70’s. It’s still one of the best fried chicken places you can go!

I don’t live in Union city, but I do drive to here just because they have the most friendly employees compare to the one up north. They are just nice and friendly. For that, I am back every time. Good job you all!!! Sorry for the trouble earlier. Your discount is so attempting haha. And who ever packed these order, great packaging job!!!! Did I said this location also have discount, Yeap, That’s just perfect! Be honest with you all, food industry is all about service. This is the most important reason that people coming back again and again!!~

The service is bad. You are constantly being asked ” IS THAT IT? ” The guy who took my order was so impatient and wouldn’t let me continue without interrupting me with that dammm question.. lil do these employees know our families have been going there for over 20 years and have lived in UC for over 40 years and this was the worst service EVER! And to top it off they got our lil azzz order wrong. Dammm maybe they should stop playing grabass and do their job. Oops I forgot to include that no car in front of us and no customers inside cuz we were considering going inside. Perioddd!!! They lost us to Popeyes across the street, Jollibees is worth the long lines and Krispy chicken down on Whipple..Bye KFC! Or as they say BYE FELICIA!

This restaurant sometimes has the pot pies ready, but most of the time I find that only one is ready and I always need two. So, it is a hit and miss as to whether I am able to eat here or not as the pot pie is the only item I really enjoy eating. This visit they had 2 ready to go.

Tried this place multiple times before leaving this review. Do yourself a favor and if you crave chicken don’t go here. Chicken wasn’t even crispy and I ordered a sandwich and they put cold tenders on the bun. Stay away!
