As a Mexicano who has lived most of his life in Arizona and Southern California, I can say with some degree of confidence I know a thing or two about Mexican food. I have searched far and wide for great Mexican food in Tennessee. This is GREAT Mexican food. I love Oscars! Also, I have been to nearly every Oscars in Middle Tennessee and this is the best one! I absolutely love the refried beans here. You can’t go wrong when you stop by this location. Hope your experience here is as good as every experience I’ve had here!

We don’t know why we haven’t tried Oscar’s Tacos in the past. Well it was worth the wait because on Taco Tuesday this is the spot for me. They also have flour tacos also and their fish tacos are very tasteful.

Breakfast burritos were great. The wife had shredded tacos which she enjoyed. Most disappointing. Part of the meal was the refried beans which tasted and looked like canned beans only worse. Not impressed whatsoever. I make my own homemade refried beans and these have to be canned. They couldn’t be homemade because they were horrible

Upon entering the music was playing, and was. I ordered for my son and I anticipating that I was about to eat some delicious street tacos, refried beans and rice I was utterly surprised! I ordered carnitas and chicken for the both of us. The carnitas was desert dry, and the chicken tasted as if it was from a can that sat to long past its expiration date. The corn tortillas were under heated and definitely to large for tacos. The serving size of the meat was exceptional however, the flavor and presentation was super. The refried beans resembled and tasted like Gerber baby food, refried bean flavor. The rice tasted as if it was a microwavable side item with no flavor. I asked for the food to be eaten in the restaurant, they put it in to-go boxes. I’m not going to tell anyone not to visit, I’m just my experience

Horrible place, the location In Murfreesboro is way better. My queso dip was water down, and my chicken was pink. If you want food poisoning this is a great place to go.

1st time. 3 different tacos. Shrimp was awesome. Other 2 great. Maybe a touch pricey…..but isn’t everything right now. Torts better than average. Will check out the other locations.

The cashier was nice but the food was bad. I ordered a steak burrito with rice and beans the ‘steak’ was tiny little chopped pieces of burnt meat. It was supposed to be ‘chimied’, meaning fried and covered in cheese, it was not it only had a sprinkle of cheese on top. I ordered chips and guacamole, and the guacamole was loose, watery, and not very good at all. I ordered rolled tacos, and they were burnt. I ordered a pork belly taco, and it was cold and undercooked. I was completely unsatisfied with my meal and so was my daughter. I do not recommend this place.
