If I am looking for specialty pizza, I go here. They have regular pizza, but how can you not choose from one of the MANY specialist pies that the owner prepares meticulously just for you. There is a really nice roomy dining around and the parking lot is very safe and comfortable. The food was delicious. I’d definitely go back when I am in the area. Check them out!

The best pizza I’ve ever had! I know, I know, that sounds like a cliche. Let me expound. I’m 50 years old, a lifelong NJ resident and I’ve been blessed to travel our beautiful country and some parts of the world, particularly Europe. I’m saying I’ve had pizza “everywhere” and for close to 50 years of life. Furthermore, before entering the law enforcement field as my career, I worked in two separate pizzerias for several years learning the fine art of real pizza making and some wonderful Italian culinary skills. Maybe I’m not an expert, but I do have some knowledge in this subject. Every Friday, my wife and I go to Pezzo Pizza in Long Valley and, with wine and beer in hand (BYOB), we order this: “Large pie, well done, half pepperoni, half plain, and BTW, put the pepperoni on the pizza when it comes out of the oven.” The hot cheese cooks the pepperoni perfectly or else it comes out too crispy, unless you like that. Ok, first rule with ordering pizza, always get it “well done.” No, it will not come out burnt. That’s “very well done.” If you do not say, “well done,” it will come out too ‘doughy’ and if you say, “very well done,” it will come out on the burnt side. Anyway, trust me on this. The sauce on the pizza at Pezzo, which I personally believe makes the pizza, is phenomenal and well circulated throughout the pizza. It’s a phenomenal pie, and I look forward to my Fridays with my wife at Pezzo. Order my pie and let me know what you think.

Wow! I just stopped by here in passing. It was already after 1:00, but there was only one empty table and a line for takeout. I only had two plain slices, but they were fantastic. The sauce was exceptionally tasty. I’ll definitely return to try something for dinner.
