The people currently working here shouldn’t be working here. The Asian guy and the black girl offer horrible service like they’re half asleep and don’t want to be there. The young black man that works there was great he basically did both their jobs in giving exceptional customer service. This place is trash though.. it’s almost like there’s no management, food tastes old, aura is lifeless and it is overpriced. Gross!! DEFINITELY not worth $35..

The staff at the location of The Shops at Riverside are so amazing–very cordial and accommodating. And the coffee is absolutely delicious! I just joined their coffee club–and it’s free! I couldn’t believe it–so many other perks to enjoy there as well; but most importantly, is how accommodating and super friendly their staff is there! It’s my daily pick me up after my shift at work.

I must have had the worst mango smoothie ever at this location today. First, they seem to have run out of mangoes, so an employee went somewhere to get the fruit. They didn’t bother telling us there would be to be a very long delay in making the drink; otherwise, I would have just canceled the order. While I was waiting, numerous other customers were being served and received their orders. When I finally got the “smoothie,” if you can call it that, it had absolutely no flavor (no sweetness whatsoever), was lukewarm and had a weird consistency. The mangoes, which took so long to obtain, did not seem fresh either. I should have gone back to get a refund, but our car was far from the store and I didn’t feel like going back to complain and having a confrontation. I ended up just throwing out the drink and totally wasted $7.50. I should have known something would go wrong when they said they didn’t have ice cream for an affogato.

The food here is excellent, and the staff’s very kind even if I’m sitting down for just pastry and coffee. I sometimes order from this patisserie’s mail order online from their website when I’ve needed to go to relatives a few hours away where I can’t find equally good bakeries. They must have a great shipping company because the cakes taste just as good when they arrive.

They forgot to make my order so I had to remind them of it, which normally wouldn’t be so annoying except I waited so long for the worst matcha latte I’ve ever had. It was so watered down. The croissant was also really old-tasting, like they were made the day before but didn’t sell well. The flavor of the croissant was okay though, it was just way too old (so the texture was off).

This cafe is extremely friendly. Manager Sia and Kevin made my little sister & I feel welcomed and right at home. The drinks here were absolutely delicious. I highly recommend consumers to order the dirty chai, perfect holiday drink!

Terrible staff. Went there on November 19th, 2022 at around 4 PM to order, but was told by staff they are on break. That’s it. No explanation, no effort to say come back a little later. Just, “we are in break”. What a shame! I do feel bad for the owner of this place.
