This was my first time eating here. I was really impressed. The service was excellent. The food was delicious! The crawfish beignets were the best I’ve ever had. I will definitely be returning.

King Brasserie was one of the best parts of my trip to New Orleans. My friends and I stopped in after a day of sightseeing and the atmosphere was perfect for unwinding after a day in the city. The servers were kind and knowledgeable about the neighborhood and the menu. The drinks and dessert were some of the best we had while in New Orleans! Would highly recommend visiting while in Nola.

Our waiter Alfred was helpful and charming. The food was delicious. Highly recommend the chocolate croissant! It’s authentically French and served warm.

We dined at King Brasserie + Bar last night. The meal was exceptional! We ordered the arugula & anchovy salad, leeks vinaigrette, grilled octopus, pommes purée, and King carbonara. We loved every dish! Delicious combinations that were well balanced in flavors, textures, and refined ingredients. We rarely get dessert, but so glad we did! The ramos vacherin and the ponchatoula strawberry mousse cake were both so nice! The juniper gelato in the Ramos vacherin was especially refreshing and really lovely. The staff was also extremely kind and attentive. We appreciated the above and beyond service! Didn’t know what to expect from a relatively new restaurant, but King is truly a gem. I would absolutely love to enjoy another meal here soon!

Excellent food! The King Bread Service and the Crawfish Beignets were AMAZING! The bartender, Miller, was GREAT! Don’t miss out on this hidden gem of a restaurant tucked inside the Kimpton Hotel Fontenot!

Fantastic restaurant! When you see and taste the food, you can tell that the chef puts his heart and soul into the food and the ingredients. It’s a new restaurant, so it’s not yet on the culinary map of the New Orleans, however if they continue serving food like this they will become a staple! We had their baked and raw oysters, octopus and carbonara.

Everything was delicious. The menu was fish heavy, but we’ll balanced.

Our reservation was confirmed the day before we arrived with clients for dinner. With no notification when we arrived the restaurant closed for a photo shoot. They wanted to sit us in the hotel breakfast room with a different menu like soup and sandwiches. Quickly called an amazing restaurant down street called August. They fit us in when they heard what King Brasserie did to us.

Such good food. For some reason, it was almost completely empty when we came, but the food was fantastic. They make their own bread- the focaccia was the best I’ve ever had. Unique dishes. Tartare, bbq oysters, bread plate, branzino were all excellent. Chicken was ok.
