Orient Express is a unique Chinese restaurant and lounge, with private karaoke rooms. They are conveniently located a 5-10 minute walk from the SODO Link light rail station, and they have a parking lot.

Fun atmosphere, good food, great service. The dinner special for 2 is actually affordable! Their hot n sour soup was delish. I wish my entre came with a little bit of rice. Environment is really cool when there’s shows. Ive yet to try the karaoke but its on the list.

Honestly I really loved the Orient Express – it’s a weird place and those that like it will love it and those who don’t get it will probably never get it. They serve both American Chinese food as well as Thai food but honestly you’re probably not there for the food even though it’s not bad in that 80’s/90’s classic msg laden Chinese food vibe. We came for a birthday party in the karaoke rooms and also checked out the cocktail lounge and both were unique in a way that seems to be disappearing in Seattle.

First time here, wasn’t sure what to expect. One side was a dancefloor and bar, the other a restaurant, in the back, a maze of room and exploration. My friend had bought the dinner so unsure how much that went for but food was really good, my partner asked for spice level 1 but got something similar to the level 3 for my friend and I so we asked for a remake which they graciously remade without hesitation which we appreciated. A well beer was around $11 which I thought was a bit steep but the atmosphere and music that night held my interest and overall was surprised and impressed at the hidden rooms and gracious service as well as the ease I felt while exploring and learning my way around the space I was in. Overall I enjoyed it and wouldn’t mind visiting again and grabbing a bite trying more of their menu. 🙂

The service was really good, the waitress was super friendly, and the right amount of attentive… Not bothering us too much, but not ignoring us either .

You really get a bang for your buck here and the old train cars it’s set up in give it a great aesthetic. I didn’t get to karaoke here, but it looks so fun! Highly recommend for the experience.

Portions are insultingly small for the price you’re paying. $4 for 12 ounces of soda, and $19 for a nearly empty takeout box. Food tasted amazing, but I will not be returning due to the price. I recommend the Mongolian Beef, if you’re willing to take out another mortgage on your house.

Food was good but portions are small considering the cost. The main dishes came out before our soup and the lady that sat us (also the waitress) had an unpleasant demeanor.

Took my wife and son here. We got friendly reaction and super nice service. The lady was nice to my son. Food was amazing. I saw the negative reviews while in there so I just ordered spring rolls. My wife ordered eggplant and garlic sauce. My 2 year son got chow main. Let me tell you. The dishes were huge. And I’m glad because the food was great. So I ate my spring rolls and some of my sons chow main lol. Definitely coming back
