I’ve been here a few times, but loved every visit. The food here is so delicious and I look forward to getting it whenever I am in the area. The service here is great and I appreciate the friendly staff. It is important to note that they do make the food to order so that it’s fresh so don’t be surprised by a wait time. It might take about 15 minutes depending if they are busy or not, but it’s with the wait!

From their start in Ohana Market Place to their current permanent residence in Kaimuki, this has been a must go to place whenever you are in the area. Recommend to call early and make a reservation especially if you are interested in trying one of their daily specials. Friendly staff, great food, and good portions. If you love Katsu be sure to check them out.

I’ve had this place tagged a while ago and have been meaning to try it. The prices are reasonable and the food was good. I ate the Uzumaki Shiso Katsu Roll Bento. I would order this again. Right now it’s only take out.

I stopped by this place today. Since I sew some posts at Instagram, I wanted to try their Katsu. My target was uzumaki shiso katsu, but it was sold out. (Recommend to place an order early!) But I got the popular menu, Kurobuta kasane tonkatsu. It was tender and tasty! Also, got spam katsu musubi and takoyaki katsu boat. They were good, too. Next time I will call and place an order early!

BEST tonkatsu in Hawaii♥️Light, crunchy (Saku saku) batter, layers of lovely pork strips that magically stay together as you pour on lovely sauce and sesame seeds to dip or place on your perfect piece of hot tonkatsu in your mouth. Try NOT to purrrrr when you first taste it…I dare you! The ambiance is lovely. I love the seats next to the cute, unusual plants by the window and book corner. Restaurant looks like a place in Osaka. The beautiful woman that takes your order makes you smile even when you are hangry. Do go and enjoy this eatery. What a gem ♥️

Best tonkatsu I’ve had. It’s soft & thick. They have limited hours so make sure to check before you go. Dine-in is now open. The wait is about 20 min or so because they don’t make it till you order it.
