First time having plantain fufu, I am not a fan of the texture but, everything else I ordered was delicious! I will give the Yam fufu a try next time before I completely rule it out. Thank you!

I ordered Jolif Rice with chicken. The food was not fresh. The chicken had a tough texture and tasted like fried chicken that was reheated in a microwave or in a pot with gravy. The rice was also old and drenched in oil.

Their serving size had dropped tremendously… ordered Egusi and fufu on delivery and when I got my food the soup was non existent ( it was at the bottom of the bowl. My thing is .. if your running low and can’t serve your customers properly please inform the customer , Dont just take our money and give us the bare minimum. Before they moved to this bigger location we not only got quality food but quality servings .. basically I feel robbed. I’ve been a long time customer with Kamaras and this year they have been disappointing me greatly .. $25 down the drain ! Also with the rice dishes they give us this HUGE amount of white rice with again a little amout of soup . How about giving the same amount of rice for the soup or for the $20 and up orders actually giving us our money’s worth. Not going to lie they just lost a loyal customer.

So my order came up to damn near 50$ that’s isn’t the issue . But when one item is 13$ and it comes looking like this when it is suppose to be filled to the top is crazy . I called the restaurant and was told I had to come back with the soup so that they can see . I offered to send a photos as I live on the whole opposite side of town and had to be at work so it would be proof as to why I was requesting a refund .Had no problem taking my money off my card tho . But claimed they couldn’t put it back

I saw this place a few times, and really wanted to give it a try……..So I did. I went in on a Saturday. We did not receive a warm welcome or greeting. In fact, the lady lookat us as if we were not going to make a purchase. I love supporting Black Businesses, so that was my sole reason for even going here.

Tried this place for the first time and food was delicious! Loved the fish and sweet potato and specially the chili sauce. It’s too hot so few drops go a long way. Ginger juice was really good and had a very strong ginger flavor. It’s exactly like a fresh ginger extract. Wish there was a bit more gravy in fish.

I got there famous Egusi Soup !! It was sooo good wish it was more soupy and filled to the top for $20 b/c it is soup 90%meat 10%soup and the fufu was a small portion also but I literally inhaled that lil a$$ portion just b/c the portion is small I’ll probably get this ones a year.
