The food was pretty good, and, despite being a little short staffed, the service was also pretty good. We all got the special, country fried steak, with mashed potatoes as one side for each of us but with each getting a different second side.

Got the 1lb burger with a sunny side up egg, and the chicken dumpling soup which was on special today! Everything tastes great! Far better than I expected. Service was great! Perfect little town restaurant to stop and get something than anything chain that your already use to in your hometown. Definitely will be back in the morning before we leave to see how good breakfast is and next time we’re here guaranteed!

If you ever find yourself in Massanutten, visit Terri’s Country Cafe it’s an “off road” little place aquitened by locals. No lines. You seat yourself. Chapped mugs, mismatched random utensils, generous portions, and fair prices. Cute AF, and very country indeed. We can’t stop smiling and joking around little details spotted in this place. They also sell homemade jellies and BBQ sauce

We had stopped by this morning because I wanted to find a breakfast place that was a little unique and a little more local. Nice atmosphere, fair prices, and generous portions. Not so sure about the grits, but it might be cause we aren’t very familiar with the baseline for grits (not a lot of Southern exposure where we’re from). I also wanted to try the ponhaus, which is certainly less common where we’re from. Overall, very nice experience!

Great service at this friendly little diner. Breakfast came out super fast and was delicious. Will be back again on future trips, more than worth the trip.

Huge portions of delicious food. Stopped by for breakfast on a road trip and the food was amazing. Pancakes the size of your head. Delicious sausage and gravy. Down home feel. The con of the visit was slow service but it’s because they were slammed so I can’t blame them but so much. The waitress was friendly and on her game. Give them a try and your belly will thank you.

Love, love this Cafe. The atmosphere is country style, welcoming and clean. The owner and staff are very friendly. Food is so good and hot when served. The grits are the best I have eaten. The portions are very generous. When we leave town after visiting family it is tradition to have breakfast at Terri’s Cafe. Can’t wait to go there after the pandemic is cooled down. I used to love this place but it’s really went down hill. I was in there about a month ago with my mother. The waitress messed up my mothers order and when my mother tried to explain to her that it was wrong she was very rude to her. My mother being in her 70’s couldn’t hear her response but I did and I responded in kind to the waitress. We both left very aggravated. Yesterday evening I thought I would give it another chance. We went in and ordered our food to go. After driving back to the house that’s 20 minutes away and opening the food up. It was all very screwed up. Ordered a fish with two sides and got hamburger and French fries. Hamburger looked horrid anyways. Ordered meatloaf with no gravy on it and got gravy. Drive 20 minutes back to explain order was wrong and what it was supposed to be. Initial waitress was nice but second one that walked up was rude. First waitress came out after taking food back and said cook read order wrong. When I got my replacement order and checked it, it wrong as well so I had to wait again for it to be fixed. No discount offered. Spoke to a gentleman i know that was in there eating while I was waiting and he had told me that he along with some friends of his had been having issues there as well in the past few months. He told me he hadn’t eat there in months because it had went down hill. That was his first time in months. He was surprised and I was too that they are even still in business with the way they have been doing the customers. I would give 1/2 star if available only because first waitress was nice.
