The most arrogant and disrespectful staff and management. My family and I were treated poorly. The restaurant was almost empty (only 5-8 tables being served and 12 tables setting idle ). Still the staff said they are full and we needed to wait ~ two hours! The racist manager was clearly going out of her way to make a statement about who is welcome and who is not in this poorly managed establishment. She even had the audacity to suggest we try a different nearby restaurant! More to come about this experience.

I ate at the Shor multiple times during my stay at the Hyatt. The food was delicious! Our waiter was very helpful. They have a buffet that’s really good. I had the buffet for breakfast and dinner. During breakfast I ate an amazing omelette prepared by chef Ali. It was delicious! During the dinner buffet they had blackened shrimp. I couldn’t get enough of them. On another night I had their salmon salad. It was perfect. My friends loved it as well. The Florida Greens are also amazing! I would definitely eat here again!

We had a variety of foods. Chicken Sandwich, Waffle fries, Deviled Eggs, Mahi Mahi Tacos, drinks to include cucumber martini and rum runner and Texas mule (all great). The desserts are all fantastic and service was tremendous. Decor is nice as well. This is probably closer to a 4.4 rating.

The aprepa tasted frozen. If you have ever had a good warm soft area this was more like cardboard. It is served with some corn and peppers which were great. The fried green tomatoes were gross. The tomato is so mushy and the bread had no flavor. The BEST ABSOLUTE BEST friend green tomatoes are at a place in Savannah called The 5 Spot. You will never find any better those those fried green tomatoes. They were hot, tasy, and crispy! Just perfect. The third appy was the brussel sprouts, those are always a hit or miss because you can get them anywhere buy not here. They are not seasoned. They were cooked well and had some decent prices of pork belly but no seasoning.

Ate at Shor for dinner after a Jaguars game, the decor of the restaurant and bar area is outstanding. The bar area was packed with football fans so I ended up eating in the dining room but was pleasantly surprised with how good the meal was, the service was excellent as well. Shor is also a great alternative to Morton’s, both restaurants are located next to each other within the Hyatt Regency.

Work across the street and decided to walk over for lunch. We were seated right away. The service was great! I tried the chicken sandwich with a cup of gumbo. The gumbo was SO GOOD! Wish they would serve it with bread.

I ordered breakfast: pancakes and oatmeal. It was REALLY good. I had it delivered to the room and I’m always gracious for services rendered so I wanted to be sure the server was tipped. She lied and said no, so I included a tip thinking she hadn’t been paid. Consequences, my low rating for this establishment is due to dishonesty. Truthfully, things like that may hurt that industry just fyi. I just know in my lines of work, I never try to hurt the industry.
