The food was decent. The service was excellent. Drinks (Margarita’s) were ok. They have valet (preferred), and they do accept cards for payment. Atomosphere was definitely a family vibe. It’s a bit dated, but that’s what makes this place!

From start to finish, what a charming little Mexican restaurant. Love that it’s been part of the neighborhood since the 1920s when it was established. The coconut margaritas are so delicious. Even if you’re not a margarita fan. Get one!! When my sister and I visited we had enchiladas, chile relleno and ceasar salad, all delicious and fresh. We WILL be back.

Decided to give the original location a try since our experience at the Pasadena location wasn’t good. This visit was much better but nothing to brag about. Definitely disappointed for being a Mexican restaurant. Food was ok, since it was lukewarm and beans were salty. They would have use some of that salt on the other food, to give it more flavor.They don’t have any salsa besides bottled hot sauce like tabasco. They also don’t have any options for dessert. The only desert they had available was flan. I wouldn’t recommend for anyone wanting authentic Mexican food.

Oh boy where do I start what do I say the service as soon as you pull in it’s extraordinary the waitress admit meet you at the little Podium super crazy helpful help us to one table and into another bigger table when other family members were arriving the waiter and his helper and I wish I would have got the names but they were off the chain I mean I used to come here when I was younger and early 80s and I didn’t remember how anything was but tonight it was spectacular man I mean it was worth the drive from Long Beach to LA to go there it was great thank you guys for your hospitality great service and did I mention the food oh man you don’t you you don’t even want me to go into the food I had the burrito Dorado I think and I’m looking at it right here on my table I couldn’t eat it all it was great the snacks were great The margaritas were great thank you guys
