Located in the food court of Newport mall, this place is located right next to Panda express. When I arrived, luckily the crowd wasn’t there at qdoba on a crowded Saturday afternoon as a result I was able to get my order quick. I went for a veggie burrito bowl and I liked how their ingredients were fresh. The staff here is really humble and patient too as I had to redeem a coupon for which it took a while but they were happy to wait for a while. The portion quantity though is less compared to Chipotle but the quality is certainly better. Looking forward to more visits here.

Manager was disrespectful and super unprofessional. Alberto or Berto not sure is the manager at the Newport location. I did not like the chicken bowl, I only had 1 bite. The bowl was full and when I asked what could be done. Immediately said “no refund because you already tasted it”. In reality how would I have known how the food taste? Not even just that but as he’s telling me he walked away and left me standing there. I get that they were closing 30 minutes after I went but it was super unprofessional and rude.

My friend ordered a double chicken bowl at the Newport Center. He had 1 bite and immediately didn’t like it, so we head straight back. The manager immediately caught an attitude after we talked to him saying the food didn’t taste good. Didn’t bother offering another bowl, and said we will not get our money because “we already had a taste”. How else would we have know it didn’t taste good? Mind you this happened 30 minutes before they closed. We understand they were cleaning up, but the way the MANAGER ALBERTO handled it was so unprofessional and rude. He walked away like nothing.

This mall has some good choices and Qdoba is great. I love their flavorful food. They have the best queso. Catering is spot on and they even host fundraisers where they give back 25% of business you bring in. That way more than other restaurants.

Staff was highly unmotivated and all the toppings were exhausted. They were basically making burritos with leftovers. When I asked about this, I was told they didn’t receive today’s supply. They are trying to serve less so that they can cater more. This was utter nonsense.
