Food is tasty. Service is excellent. Idiyappam was not as soft & fluffy & the thenga pal was sweet. I was expecting it to be unsweet as the way Sri Lankans eat them. I was disappointed they advertise king fish fry on their special menu but do not usually have it. It’s always pomfret though it was very good. Pepper prawns were a bit too mixed up with too much ground spice mixtures. Chicken kari dosa was good. All in all the food was good but not the best in North Dallas. I do hope they will improve as we give constructive feedback.

Try this restaurant when you’re in Dallas, You won’t be sorry. The prices are very reasonable when compared to providing their hygienic and delicious food. I tried this restaurant today, and I absolutely loved it. The food was really authentic and superb, I mean the taste was too good, and I never saw and expected this hospitality, I mean not even in India, They truly set the standard for culinary service and hospitality.

Kuppanna offers an authentic South Indian dining experience that showcases the flavors of the region. During my visit, I had the pleasure of trying their mutton chukka and kuska, and they were truly delightful. The flavors were rich, and the spices were well-balanced, creating a delicious and satisfying meal. However, the parottas fell a bit short of expectations and could have been better in terms of texture and taste. Nevertheless, I hope Kuppanna stays consistent with the taste and quality of their dishes. It’s a promising place for South Indian cuisine lovers, and with a little improvement in certain areas, it has the potential to become a go-to spot for a truly remarkable culinary experience.

Have been to so many restaurants, but after a long very time, we really enjoyed our food.We ordered Khuska with Chicken 65 and Chicken Biryani with Chicken 65. The food was fresh and hot. Even the Idlis were soft freshly made. The staff was very courteous. They didn’t even charge for any extra rice or gravies , which is not the case these days. Overall a very good experience. Will come back again.

We had high expectations of this place, but their service was not good. We waited for long to get second servings on the thali. They’d bring non veg side dishes to veg thali and vice versa. There were more items available, but we weren’t offered all of them. They wouldnt list all the items available in thali like kara kuzhambu, rasam etc
