Staff and clientele are always welcoming. Enjoy every visit. It’s right on The Mississippi River, which incredibly cool! Buy a koozie! We give them as gifts. And, try the pizzas! The thin crust garlic pizza is a fave! Looking forward to our next visit!

Went for a family get tagether. Was there with my mom and cousin and niece. Sat down for a drink and food. And to see family. We waited more than 10 minutes to get some service for food. The waitress finally came with our menus. We ordered the combo basket. Every one else was getting there food. And nice size portions of it. It took them a hour to get our food done. It doesn’t take a hour to fry vegetables. When we finally got our food. It was barely anything. You couldn’t even call it a portion of food. There was only 8 peices of fried vegetables in there. Me and my family got ripped off. They charged us 8 dollars each for barely anything. The service was bad. There food was bad. They kept us waiting for the ticket as well to pay. My mother finally went up there to get our ticket to pay for that crappy service there. I don’t recommend that place to eat at. Not at all.

We’re from Missouri and as a child I loved this place, previously named something else. We wanted to go back to reminisce. Kinnick On the River beat my significant others expectations! We went 2 nights in a row! Service and food was amazing!

Probably a Five Star for locals. There are nice people that work there and it looked like it was very popular with the regulars. It’s a typical tavern on the river that is Iowa Hawk-eye themed. It is inexpensive. It seemed fairly clean as well. I found the food selection to be very limited unless you like fried food. We did get a burger and fries. It was a very average burger that I could tell was from a food distributor and probably came in a box.

This is a small bar with a lot of character. They serve all of the major beers and pilsners. They do have a few hard ciders and mixed cocktails; and the usual fare of hard liquor and spirits. They have a nice size dance floor and live music acts. It’s a great place to meet friends and relax.

Waited 50+ minutes for fried food and cheese burgers with no one there but the at the bar. 2nd time here service was the same. Food was hot tho. Good place just dont expect fast service.
