I used to work there 4 years ago as a kid. I was only 16 year old. People loved me there. Unfortunately, the second owner Aj(Janan) stole my dads 50% ownership because my father didn’t sign the document. As a person who worked and owned the store. The chicken is saved after 1-3 days and recooked. Strongly advise to avoid this place!

I was surprised when they said they didn’t accept credit/debit cards. It’s 2018!! His reason was because of fraud however when you own a business (like i do) you must sacrifice somethings for your customers. Don’t let the bad ones spoil it for the good ones! I honestly believe it was so he didn’t have to pay the fees on credit cards they are ridiculously high but its about convenience. I never carry cash but thankfully my husband had it. Food was ok..i miss the the New York fried chicken in my old neighborhood…no comparison NO GREENS come on! Guy was friendly.

I never thought anyone could mess up chicken …lawd behold! I was wrong. The chicken taste like it was cooked days ago in grease that’s been reused since 2017. It’s hard to ruin chicken for me, but New York fried chicken of Highlandtown Y’all did it!! I will not be buying food from here ever again!

I am a local in this area. New York Fried Chicken should be removed from our community it is colon cleanse or detox and the prices are outrageous someone should really do something about this place.
