sometimes they be pretty good but a lot of times, they don’t even be trying. I ordered hot last time and they gave me regular fish. it wasn’t hot at all. then I ended up throwing it away because it had that fishy taste. Hot fish don’t ever have that old school fishy taste. It was nasty. never again

This place is never open. They don’t have updated hours online & they hardly ever answer the phone. I finally got through the phone line for the first time in several months & asked how long they were open until; they told me 7pm. I started calling at 1:25 to place an order…no answer. Called 3 times. I showed up at 1:45pm & the doors were locked. I sit in the car to wait & at 2pm, a woman comes out in a helens t-shirt & gets in her car & leaves. I’m sick of this place

They left off my drink and I ordered to have extra seasoning on my fries and the fries where not only Luke warm but bland because they didn’t put any seasoning on them or the chicken. I’m sorry but if you can’t follow simple instructions you get a 1 star, especially since the food is expensive. They will not get my services again.

Food is great, the service was not. When you call it’s hard to get someone to answer, if you ask them to call back, they say ok, but never do. Getting I. Touch with the owner is nearly impossible. Therefore here are my thoughts. I would have rathered spoken to the owner about this but they refused to call back.

Omgoodness!!! Normally I go to the Helen’s in Smyrna ….when I’m traveling through…but for some reason my navigation brung me to this one…& I’m not even mad!! The young lady..I wanna say Rockeya…was soooo cool! & Babyyy the FOOD!!! Go lay down! The BEST!!!! The waffle!!! The best I’ve ever had in my LIFE!! And I’m a chef/restaurant owner myself. Im a little salty looking at the reviews…y’all gotta have some compassion. I can tell by some of the reviews yall be coming off rude! This lady cooking, taking orders, wiping tables, checking bathrooms etc…this I know!! Cause while my food was cooking she was cleaning tables! I definitely OVERSTAND why she the way she is!!! Typically when you order curbside and tip, they bring it out to your car. No one ever brought my food out. So I go inside. Girl at the counter was extremely unfriendly. Drink machine didn’t even have any ice. Out of cherry pepsi which wasn’t that big of a deal. Tried this place out bc I heard great things. Fries are soggy along with the fried okra. Chicken is also chewy. I’ll stick to going to slow burn and bjs hot chicken in Hendersonville.
