Our first oyster and seafood adventure in Tyler and I have to say that it was awesome! The oysters were delicious, the oyster shooter was crazy good. And the fried seafood basket was incredible. I will definitely make this cozy seafood venue one of my regular spots. Believe me, you will as well.

This place is SO good! I don’t understand how it isn’t super crowded and having to take reservations! Super nice people working, laid back atmosphere! My husband said it is the best butterfly shrimp he has had in east Texas, and my salmon was cooked perfectly! We will definitely make this a regular spot when we go out to eat!

Initially, I was a little disappointed. We decided to try Breakers because we wanted oysters, but the waitress explained that they were out because their shipment of oysters were dead, and they had sent them back. We had the shrimp brushetta, which was really good. We ordered the seared ahi and the red snapper, both of which were really good. We decided to share a brownie, which came out hot and delicious. Our waitress was on point and kept our glasses filled and made sure we had everything we needed. We even had one of the chefs come out and make sure we were enjoying our food. Even though I would have really enjoyed some oysters I am glad they sent them back and didn’t try and serve them like some other places would have. I will definitely be back.

SO GOOD! I never eat seafood unless I’m at the beach but oh my, it was the best seasoning, the green beans and asparagus were perfectly seasoned, and the rice pilaf was amazing! Cant say how much we liked it enough!

Seems more like a place to drink than an actual restaurant. My fried fish was was saturated in oil and the only detectable flavor was freezer burn. The tea was lighter than apple juice. The service was just as bad. The wait staff was only paying attention to the bar patrons. Half of my child’s food was extremely overcooked while their fries were limp and undercooked. Subpar food and subpar service.

Having a deep love of the ocean I often want good seafood, however being so far from the ocean it can sometimes be hard to get good seafood. Thankfully I chose the right place. I went with a good shrimp and grits and it came out wonderfully. The star of the meal was the rich creamy sauce that really soaked into both the shrimp and grits to bring out all the best flavors of both. In fact the shrimp and grits here were much better than the one I ordered right at Galveston! I will certainly be back to try more
