Visiting from out of town and decided to try Vanda Orchid Thai Bistro. I was happy to find a variety of vegetarian options on the menu. I ordered the Pad Thai, fresh Spring Rolls, and mango sticky rice. All the ingredients were very fresh and well prepared. Super tasty! Quick and friendly service when picking up my order.

A gem hidden in plain sight! We stopped here for a weekend lunch, looking for somewhere fast with veggie options but not fast food. We had the lemon chicken (fresh, hot, huge portion) and cucumber salad (also fresh, crispy, tangy sauce) to start. Then we had the mixed vegetables with chicken and the Thai fried rice with tofu. The server was very thoughtful and double checked about the egg in the fried rice. She was friendly and prompt throughout. We are definitely adding this to our favorites for a quick stop on the road trip to Tahoe!

It’s one of the best Thai restaurant that I’ve been to. The green curry was so delicious. I ordered another steam rice and they gave it for free. The server always smiles. The place is so clean. The restroom is well decorated and very tidy, I could live there. LOL. You won’t be disappointed. Go eat here!

Simply put, since the re-branding of this restaurant (formerly known as E-San), it seems like their presentation of food was more focused than the quality/taste. We used to frequent this establishment before and had high hopes, since the old restaurant was one of the few Thai places my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed.
