Thanks to everyone else here for taking time to review, I tried this place based on reviews and people were right…food is really good and good portion size and reasonably priced and customer service is good….which is rare to be in a Chinese restaurant. We would eat here again. We were passing by and I quickly researched and selected this place for lunch and so glad it was good.

For some reason, I’ve been here for two years, and I pass by it all the time. After googling (best fried rice near me) it came up. Honestly, it’s the best around. Fresh, hot and great portions. I just found a hidden gem.

UPDATE 9/1/23: Alas, restaurant has changed ownership, and the food is consistently not good. The fried rice we ordered last time was uneatable, plus the egg rolls were burnt. Service is still prompt but definitely lacking in hospitality. Time to look for another Chinese place to haunt. Five stars downgraded to 2. *** Easily the best Chinese restaurant in Greenville (and I have tried them all and am extremely picky) Great prices and consistently delicious!

When in doubt, China Star. For those nights you just don’t want to cook and want some good ole’ “Americanized” Chinese food This is our favorite go-to place—always tasty and big portions perfect for left overs. They recently changed management, and while we miss the old owners who were so so friendly, the food has maintained its taste and quality! Prices are super fair for portion sizes—we love China Star and are so glad it’s near our house.
