We stopped in here on walleye Wednesday where the walleye is 15% off! We Ordered a walleye basket and a piece of halibut. The gentleman working the counter was extremely kind and helpful. Our food came out piping hot. Everything we delicious! I love that the fries are cut right in house! The place is very tiny inside if you are wanting to eat in there. Unfortunately, we stopped by on the day the Canadian wildfires took over the Twin Cities with smoke, otherwise they have a great little outside seating area that would have been enjoyable. They package the fish in a brown bag with lots of extra napkins and even some wet wipes which were a great touch! I would definitely recommend this place if you are in the area!!

Yummy fries and good tasting fish. A little spendy considering the place and portion size, but overall a good experience.

I got the #2 and 3 shrimp. Fish is outstanding but the shrimp might have been the best I have ever had and I have had a lot. Small place and worth the visit anytime

Love Mac’s, never disappoints. My only complaint, air conditioning or the lack thereof. It gets warm in the summer but still well worth it. I always get clams… Mac’s is one of the few places that has clams. Plus a hunk of cod of course.

So I got the #2 and 3 shrimp…service was good…counter guy brought it out to my vehicle as I got it to go, that was nice…on my way home I knew I was in trouble, I know what old grease smells like and that’s all I smelled on the way home…and I was correct, fish was dripping in old grease as were the chips…I dropped 22 bucks on this utterly disappointing meal…very small pieces and tiny slaw and shrimp…very disappointing after I heard good things…first and last visit…bummer

The best fried cod and walleye in the Twin Cities for the price. Dining area is rather small and can get very hot in summer but there are a few umbrella tables outside to enjoy your meal. We bring our own silverware to use instead of the provided plastic utensils.

Food good but service was poor. Ungodly expensive. They had no ketchup for the fries and no taffy was given. Each shrimp taco had only two shrimp and charged over $5 each. Rudeness of counter person an added bonus.

Fantastic service. Great fried foods. Love the old school vibe and history the place has. Will be happy to continue to support!
