We are from Maine and stopped in to eat at ihop on Excalibur Road. We had a great experience. The reason it was so great was our waiter, Sean. He was friendly, attentive, and extremely personable. We went for breakfast and got right in, the food came out quickly, and Sean checked on us a few times to ensure we had what we needed. As we know all ihops serve the same food. But what sets this ihop apart is the customer service we received from Sean. Highly recommend this location. (It was a very clean restaurant as well)

This is a newly established IHOP in the area. Which was exciting. Howevrr, it was my first time visiting yesterday with my dad and son. The customer service was horrible. We had to wait to be seated, after walking in being seen and told:”I’ll be right back.” The server never came back. We finally got seated but had to move because my son’s carseat was too big and the tables didn’t move/couldn’t be adjusted. After moving to another table, we still had to sit and wait until one of the servers who were sitting down (rolling silverware) asked one of his co-workers to get someone to help us. We still had to wait. We finally got served but the wait was terrible and it wasn’t too many people in the restaurant. They even messed up my order and we still tipped. It was disappointing because we love IHOP but won’t be coming g back to this restaurant.

The waitress was really slow. Spoke to manager to get order of pancakes that took 15 minutes to receive. Order’s chicken was old and tasted freezer burnt. Chicken tenders for kids meal was dark and hard. This was a wasted $47 meal. This is the better ihop, too. Very disappointed with the service. The server took coffee pot and never bought it back until I asked for it. Just not a good experience for the price.

We went for a late lunch / brunch. Service was slow. Watched another customer ask for manager and noticed the time it took for her to show. I enjoyed my sampler, but my wife wasn’t impressed with her southwest chicken bowl. This location is one and done for us.

We were the only ones there and everyone came by to wish us a good morning. The waitress was kind and accommodating. The manager made sure the kids felt like they were appreciated and made sure they had paper and crayons even though they had no kids menus. All around a great experience. We will come here in the future over the other one in Bowie, near our home.

This was my first time going to IHOP , and it was really nice. Our server was named iveth , she is Latina with blue glasses. She made sure to get our food fast , and to treat us well also made sure we had everything and came back often. The food was great, and so was the service thank you for everything.
