Very good Mexican food. We got the fish and shrimp tacos and they were excellent. I especially liked the flavor and color of the pickled red onions. I could tell that the food was real because the side of beans weren’t refried beans, they were frijoles charros, pretty good ones.

The restaurant side it’s actually very cool for pictures and selfies. But we went in simply for the Elote and Raspas so we stayed on the smaller side. As basic as a typical raspa is, some raspas you crave because of the flavor, the way the ice is crushed, etc; but these were nothing special. The way the ice is crushed melts together in the end and makes a block of ice. The Elote Marrano was ok (one with hot Cheetos, corn and queso), but the Cheetos were a bit soggy. They picture the serving all in the Cheetos bag, but they gave it to me in a plate, so maybe they just have a large bag tucked back there. We loved the Chamango and horchata! They make their aguas fresh when you order (we loved that!), but the agua de limón was too sour and not sweet enough, and the agua de mango was not cold and was not flavorful.

The food was great. Probably the best Mexican food I’ve had outside of my hometown and I’ve been looking everywhere I visit. The service was awesome, we were sat immediately and there wasn’t much of a wait for drinks or our food. It was definitely nice inside too, they have an entire side of just snacks and all the goods(ice cream, fruit, etc.) that I didn’t even find out about until I was stuffed!! The sopes were ridiculous, the pablano enchiladas were amazing, and the adult mangonada is a must. Definitely my #1 in galveston.

Food was amazing! We were in Galveston for five days and ate here everyday( sometimes more than once a day). I highly recommend the shrimp tacos and the barbacoa street tacos! They also have the best fresh fruit drinks too. Great atmosphere, great people, great food.

Servers were pretty rude, they don’t greed people, they had many tables available, and still took them long time to give us a table, when we finally got a table and as well they took long time to take our order.
