Texas Roadhouse is located off the Gateway. Usually parking is full because this place has an abundance of food for great prices. The atmosphere is so fun! This trip all the employees did a line dance! They also offer birthday singing for your loved one! The food is great, they have offerings for kids and vegans as well.

I ordered two chicken fried steak meals online and I received it burnt crisp. And what’s the one thing we all look forward to at this restaurant…..the yeast rolls. Well, I received plenty of Cinammin butter, but zero rolls. So I called and spoke with the manager (W***y). She offered a do over and would throw in a dozen rolls plus am appetizer. Sorry, but I feel the 40 minutes I waited for the order plus the time taken to drive to the restaurant and then to home AND then do it all over again is worth more than a dozen rolls plus appetizer. I told the manager this and she then promised to reimburse the meal. Now, 24 hours later still no credit on my credit card. Waste of my time and very disappointed.

Due to nature of a business such as this, it is almost impossible to serve food that is of great quality. The service was great, the food was subpar. Cold fries, gravy that tastes like sweet bacon? I applaud the effort, but the place is packed to no end with customers and the quality shows.

We always come to eat here and somehow our orders never come right when we tell them to make it a specific way that is fine. However, it never fails that we have to wait extra long to get seated or served when we place an order to go. We’ve had to wait up to 30 minutes after the time scheduled after arriving to pickup the order. Just today we placed an order to go and they gave it to someone else. After they called the other customer to have them come back and give us the food our order wasn’t even right when we got it. Not only did they get the order incorrect like they always do the food was also cool and not good at all.

It’s a place I really like to go eat. I never get disappointed by the food. I understand that it’s a favorite to many people, and the waiting is long. I wish someone could come up with an idea to help in this issue. I last time I went, we were placed in an area where it was too hot. We weren’t getting any air from the vents. They had just one fan for the whole area. I hope they have already fixed the problem.
