Nice, clean place. Chips and salsa were good. Napkins would be nice to have with the chips and salsa. Lots of great selections in the menu. The food was tasty. I would eat here again.

First time ordering food from there and it will definitely be my last. Food was nothing extraordinary, simple and under seasoned. I placed my order over the phone, later when I’m trying to eat, no silverware in the bag, I called and asked and the rood girl who answered the phone says that they don’t give silverware unless the customer asks for it, really???? That’s a first one for me. Any other place I’ve bought food from gives silverware. I guess silverware is very expensive for them to be given out with their orders. As if they weren’t charging already enough for their plain mediocre food. I was on my break trying to eat in my car. Anyway, definitely won’t be buying food from them again.

The Mango Peel is a fantastic Mexican restaurant. The dining room was clean and inviting. My family and I were greeted and seated quickly. Our nachos (along with cutlery and napkins) came soon after, as did our drink orders. The menu was very extensive, and it was challenging to make an entree choice. But the lunch specials were so reasonably priced that all of my family ordered from the lunch menu. We all loved our choices, which were served quickly and piping hot. The flavors were incredible and the portions were the perfect size for lunch. I could have used a bit more heat on my dish but not everyone in my family loves super-spicy food, so it was perfect for them. (Next visit I will ask the server for recommendations for a spicier dish, or ask for my food to be prepared with extra jalapeños to add some heat.) I do wish that the server would have stopped by to check on us one or two more times, as we needed our drinks refilled. The Mango Peel definitely needs more parking space, especially since it is the one of the best restaurants in Elkin and my family’s new go-to when we’re craving Mexican food.

It was a okay experience, I do not recommend trying their fruit margaritas it was so syrupy and sweet I could barely drink it. The food was good however, the service was slow and not the best.

The Mango Peel is a wonderful spot. From quick and easy dishes to kids meals to finer cuisine, they have a great variety. I personally love the lamb chops and fajita style dishes. Their guacamole is outstanding even with cilantro, lol..
