I was looking for somewhere to eat and this place came up on my google so I decided to come in and I’m SO glad I did. When we walked in we were greeted by the girl at the counter and she was so nice and explained everything they had to us. The FOOD was AMAZING. I ordered the large oxtail with rice and peas…. Not only are you full but the TASTE!!! Amazing. I can’t wait to go back and try more. They have coconut shrimp, jerk salmon, jerk chicken, curry goat, oxtail and more. I can’t wait to come in again.

A new little gem of a place in New Rochelle. We were provided with a recommendation from our hotel to visit this location because the food is amazing. They were not wrong! I ordered the oxtails, Mac and cheese, with veggies (cabbage). It truly hit the spot! Mac and cheese was SUPER cheesy and full of flavor. Oxtails were tender and plentiful. We also tried the chicken soup…Delicious! Service was the best! Jay is friendly, welcoming, and provided top notch service. Dumplings were cooked to perfection. I will be going back again today Definitely worth the visit!

The Cinderella Syndrome
It is really hard to find good places to eat in New Rochelle that are also reasonably priced. I am so glad Smoke and Spice opened. I have had their ribs and brown stew snapper and both were amazing. The ribs were really tender and the snapper was well seasoned. They also have really good portions. Bonus that the restaurant is sparkling clean. I would give them a try.

There aren’t enough superlatives to explain how delicious their food is. The chicken wings are tender, fall-off-the-bone, smokey, honey-sticky, finger-licking good. The ox tail is 100% legit & tender, slow roasted, rich, & accompanied with rice & beans, & ask for extra Jamaican gravy because it too is delicious. Our favorite sodas were Ting & the Jamaican Ginger Beer (huge ginger flavor). They accept credit cards & serve you with a smile. A must visit in New Rochelle. We returned again the next night & ordered the mac-n-cheese which my son said I the best mac-n-cheese he’s ever had. That’s high praise coming from him. The friendly owner gave us a taste of the jerked chicken, & it was tender, smoky, sweet & delicious.

The chef here is so talented! I had the lunch special bbq chicken, rice and peas and veggies and a side of Mac and cheese. I asked for hot sauce but honestly this dish was so packed with flavor that it didn’t even need it. Everything about this cute spot was outstanding! The owners are really nice, the place is really clean and there’s such a great variety! I’ll def be back soon. Thanks so much for your hospitality guys! You’re awesome! ❤️

This is the best jamaican food I’ve had. Quality is 12/10. consistency is even better . Which is so hard to find nowadays at Caribbean restaurants. The Food is fresh, seasoned, super flavorful, big portions & they make sure you are SERVED & FULL. I love this place. They are apart of my daily diet.

Food was dry probably due to the food not being covered to keep in moisture. Chicken pieces were abnormally small looks like they chopped the original pieces into halves. Lunch special doesn’t include drink and the quantity versus the price for full meals doesn’t equate. Sorry to be the first one star but this wasn’t satisfying at all ☹️
