I just picked up some egg rolls, fresh out of the fryer. Delicious! Purchase by the pound.

C’mon guys don’t be harsh with the reviews it’s a mom and pop store not a big time resto. Yes it takes time for someone to take your order, just wait, someone will be right there. The food is good and I keep on coming back because I am too busy to spend all my time in the kitchen.

I was shocked by the negative reviews on this site. When I read the reviews they were warranted, but didn’t speak of the excellence of the food. The Pork Adobo and the Lechon was delicious. It’s something about the best tasting food in the Chicagoland area, they can’t seem to open on time, but this is a small business and things happen. I support my Mom and Pop restaurants so I try to visit between 1pm-2pm everything’s always ready to go!!

Unimart used to be a popular destination for Filipino’s and other Asians, even other foreigners to buy they’re favorite foods. For the past many years they’ve been struggling to keep up with other big market store that opened in Chicago like Seafood City and other popular small Filipino restaurants.

people do not give good service. nobody in the meat/fish area to serve you. if you ask somebody from the cooked area, instead of them getting help for you, they will just point you to wait until someone goes there. they could, ar least, have a buzzer to call them .

It’s dirty, food is cold and not good. I even bought choco mallows and it was stale. Just go to seafood city or any filipino restaurant.

I live about half a mile and extremely lucky I got close access to Filipino authentic food. I have to say this place definitely knows how to cook and isn’t cheap with portions. The egg rolls are always great but the Pork bbq on a stick and the red adobo or bistek with garlic rice is on another level. Try this and you will not be disappointed. Masarap Maganda.

They keep changing the store hours. The owner/ manage don’t have any consideration to working people in the community. The store owner/ manager supposed to cater the needs of the community. They are supposed to be serving the working people in the community. The owner/ manager only objective is to for himself alone.

I have been trying to call the store 5 times to place an order for a party but there’s no answer. This has always been an issue. Please be considerate to your customers.
