This was our second option for the evening and it wasn’t that bad of a choice. We were able to be seated right away in a very overly decorated restaurant. Not necessarily in a bad way. Just busy with a ton of artifacts. You could come back many times, and probably never see all of it. We were greeted quickly and friendly by a nice server. She took her drink orders and brought them promptly. Took us a while to look at the menu as it is huge! There are a lot of different directions to go once you start looking at an item. We ordered for some cheese curds as an appetizer, and then, when it came to the entrées, we were all extremely stuffed as the portions are quite large. The food was hot and tasty. Seems like it would be a fun place to go to, they have a game room downstairs and even more dining upstairs. If you were a local, I’m sure you probably come here often. I would return again, only if I had a lot of calories, I needed to use up.

This restaurant has a very cool vibe. Lots of things to look at while you are eating. We went at 2:30 on a Saturday and we had to wait approximately 15 min which was fine. Our waitress was good, but very overwhelmed and overworked. She was so friendly, and tried her best. We ordered apps and drinks at the same time. We were brought our appetizers quickly but waited over 30 min for our drinks from the bar. I finally asked the waitress for my husband’s pop at least until the bar drinks came. The food was great! I would return, but a note to the establishment: please make sure your bar staff is stocked to meet the needs. We witnessed one bartender doing nothing for 20 min as she talked to her friend while the other bartender struggled to keep up.

We stumbled on this place in downtown Cheyenne while enjoying some beer at a nearby pub. We ordered some BBQ to go and were amazed at the fun decor and atmosphere of Sanford’s. The staff was very friendly and upbeat. The whole restaurant had a great vibe. When we returned to the pub we enjoyed some of the best appetizers and BBQ we’ve had in a long time! We’re definitely making Sanford’s a must do when we return to Cheyenne.

We were a 7 top, i know it’s a weird number but they really didn’t accommodate us that well… they basically took a table and added an additional chair on the end, which usually wouldn’t be an issue BUT these tables should really only seat 4-5. That was probably my biggest complaint, it does seem to get busy so make sure to go early! The food is decent and the vibe is super cool, i would go back and try something different even though i really enjoyed my taco salad.

I love Sanford’s! Every time we come here we have such a wonderful time. The food is always fresh and tasty. I love the ambiance of Sanford’s. They have a great eclectic collection of wall decor. Every time we come here we find new things to look at. Tonight, our waiter was awesome! He took great care of us. I highly recommend this restaurant to others. Thank you very much.

We were actually on our way to someplace else for dinner when we spontaneously stopped in here for a pre-dinner drink. We ended up staying for dinner because we enjoyed ourselves and the atmosphere so much!! They have a big menu and we went back and forth about what to order. A gentleman at the end of the bar came over and gave us recommendations. Come to find out, he was the owner and spent quite a bit of time talking about how fresh their food was. We regret not getting the chicken fried steak or a burger. But—got something a tad lighter and still loved it. We ordered the potstickers for an app, shared the wedge salad, and wrapped it up by sharing the chicken and shrimp fajitas. It was all delicious!!! We also had enough leftovers for a midnight snack. I will come back here every time I’m in town!!!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Stanford’s Grub and Pub, and I must say I was impressed! The food was excellent, and both of the dishes my party ordered were great. But what really set this restaurant apart was the decor – it was incredibly creative and added a unique touch to the dining experience.
