Central Pub, located on the southwest corner of the Central Flats apartment building on Belknap Street, has been in the works for about a year and a half.
The owners, who ran Tavern 105 in Superior before its doors were closed in 2021. Central Pub will retain Tavern 105’s pub style of food with burgers, wraps, and their staple entrée: Buffalo wings.

Only one visit so far. It was okay, but not great. I’ll try them again soon to see if I warm up to them or not. I had some boneless wings which were satisfactory. They turned it into a basket by adding fries and cole slaw.

Great place. They even have usb outlets next to the tables. The food is awesome. The pub burger was pretty good. The chicken wrap was decent. The cheese curds were really good. Only downside is that the server didn’t listen really well. He messed up a couple things. But overall did a decent job.

A few weeks ago, I went there on their second day open… and was not disappointed! Great food, a great atmosphere, and a great service. It was busy that night but didn’t have to wait long for the food. A nice addition would be outside seating when the weather gets better. Superior needs more places like this!

Busy, so expect a wait for the best wings in the twin ports. So crispy and absolutely delicious. Fries were good, cheese curds good, and drinks were balanced. Fried fish sandwich was super refreshing for something fried and would order again. The only caveat is the medium Buffalo wings are more like mild everywhere else. So I suggest getting hot buffalo.

I’m not sure what I thought I would find in a rapidly dilapidating town with minimal to nonexistent attractions; a local restaurant with poor professionalism and customer service should have topped the list. We waited to be seated (as instructed by the sign by the door) for over 10 mins. Keep in mind the restaurant was not busy, and the silly waitress was busy chucking it up with other customers while she clearly saw us waiting by the door, and other customers kept staring at us. Out of frustration (because the girl was too blind to see us or didn’t have the decency to inform us that she was busy and needed more time before seating us), we immediately left the restaurant. It was evident the waitress was not up to doing her job. Whatever the “great service” the people in the comment was referring to, I cannot confirm. I never received any. I certainly would not recommend coming here, much less coming back myself. Whatever I expected here, I should have prepared for worse.
