Sidetracked by this place! Very friendly and helpful staff. Arepas are stuffed well (a little sauce on the bottom might be nice). Tastiest carnitas I’ve had in a while!… looks like I never submitted… update, tried the cachapa and brought my husband to get another!

Delicious! Decided to try something different than the usual places I order takeout from and am so happy I did. Ordered the bowl with Carne mechada and customized it. When the food arrived there was an extra item in the bag and it was free tequenos because they didn’t have any avocado. Such a nice touch, and also delicious! Will absolutely order from/visit Somos again. Thank you!!

So I went on opening week when they did the first arepa free promo. When I walked in I was greeted by all the staff so warmly and the space looked so nice! The line was short (I came just before a rush) and I ordered an arepa with chicken plantin chipotle aioli and some other add ons. The employees were really warm especially the employee with hoops who made my arepa. They explained the ingredients for me because I have specific allergies and were super patient. I got an empanada as well because I felt too well served to leave not paying anything lol. I sat down and the vibes were good i loved the grass wall? decoration. I ended up getting my mom an empanada as well to go after trying mine.
