I have to agree with the previous review as we had a very similar experience. For a high priced fancy meal, I was expecting a little better I guess. We also asked for a mocktail or non alcoholic list which was quote “NA beer, Pepsi products or any of their other cocktails” but without liquor. Ok, I settled for water and my husband had a Dr. Pepper. Our appetizers were the cucumber gazpacho which was pretty dang good. Our entrees were the ribeye steaks and red potatoes. The meat itself had good flavor but were fatty and the potatoes were like the kind of potatoes you get for breakfast at IHOP. He was definitely disappointed in the potatoes cause he commented about them a few times. The star of the whole meal was the panna cotta dessert. Holy moly that was insane.

The pictures shown in the previous reviews were clearly from a different chef. Not the same, not even close. We were very disappointed in the quality of the food. It was average, but not fine dining. When we asked about mocktails or non alcoholic drink options, which nearly all of Bend is very good at, it was also disappointing. The Sierra Mist was not carbonated and the lemonade was half water. The ahi tuna appetizer smelled fishy and was cut into huge chunks, barely seared. The employees clearing plates asked literally mid- bite if they could clear the plate, and once when there was about a third of the food on my plate. The waiter was friendly and attentive, which helped. This is a missed opportunity.

Go for the views and the experience! Perfect spot to take someone you love and do something special, The chair lift rides and the view at sunset is well worth it. The food was good The service was excellent, not necessarily up to par with fine dining but the overall experience was definitely something you can enjoy and create memories!

Wow! What an experience! Even for someone born and raised in Central Oregon this was impressive. I had never gone to the sunset dinner at Mt. bachelor before but it was such an experience that I will be taking any and all out of town guests up to this when giving them the Central Oregon tour. The appetizers still have my mouth watering and it’s been 5 months. The views were breathtakingly beautiful both while taking the lift and once at the top.

Birthday dinner and a very expensive one at that. Atmosphere was very cold felt like we were in a cafeteria. No music and hardly any people. The service was great. FOOD ???! I had salmon and it was the worst I have ever had. Undercooked and very fishy. Everyone else has steak. One steak was half fat ??? Salad was great and deserts. For the price I would not recommend unless you think the view is worth 150 per person. Food needs upgrades or new chef ?

Food poor at best. Service was good. It’s a ski resort cafeteria that’s in need of a renovation.

This was an amazing experience. I’m terrified of heights and never have been on a ski lift so I was nervous. My husband and I were treating my in laws for their anniversary. We put the bar down on the lift so it wasn’t too bad. The view and the food was spectacular. I was honestly expecting the food to be lack luster but it was amazing. We had crab cakes, calamari, and charcuterie. I had the steak frites and everyone else had surf and turf. We all enjoyed our meal. The steaks were quality and delicious. Our waitress was a doll. I highly recommended
