I thought this place was just okay. Although there were a lot of people in the waiting room on a busy Saturday morning we were seated pretty quickly (about 20 – 25 minutes). The service was also just okay and so was the food. I got the crab cake Benedict. The potatoes were cold and the dish lacked overall flavor. I would give this place one more try for something else on the menu.

Overall service was good, at times our waiter would dip out for a while. Kind of hard to ask for something when they’re not around. Friendly folks! Food was yummy! I found the waffles to have a slight bitter taste to them.

Finally found excellent chicken and waffle place! Excellent breakfast choices and service. We tried the Benedict and were perfectly cooked. Only comment i had was the hashbrowns felt little uncooked and were lacking color and crisp, but overall highly recommended!

This place had a strange vibe around it. The food was not very good and had an odd texture. The country potatoes were like nothing I’ve ever tasted before and had a lot of onions. There was a long wait to get in which I am puzzled by. A lot of bizarre things on the menu like fried green tomatoes.

We started with the fried green tomatoes, green salad, and bloody mary. The tomatoes and bloody mary came out but that’s where it all stopped. The bloody mary was delicious but the bacon was at the very bottom. We didn’t have any tableware and couldn’t get water refills. I never got my salad. The bussing staff was quick to clean up plates but we couldn’t get our server, I got up to get our utensils, and we just needed some water refills.

First time here. I ordered the Louisiana Omelet. It was tasty, albeit a little bland; the shrimp, I think, was unseasoned, which made them taste “watery”, and, when added to the other ingredients, made that portion taste bland. Service was a little slow, especially regarding the coffee replenishment. I like mine topped off often. I enjoyed the huckleberry muffin. Overall, a good dining experience and I will probably eat here again.

If a chain, catchy, diner is what you are looking for, this is actually the place. I can’t say much bad about this place. It has a catchy cajun theme. It has a feel of a chain diner. Menu has lots of options. I ordered grits and potatoes. Dont think they even knew what grits were, but they gave it a shot.

If you’re looking for southern and comfort foods, then this is the place to go. Nothing very healthy on the menu. It’s very meat and cream heavy. I ordered the waffle and it was like the kind you would get at a self-service hotel breakfast. Just very plain and white flour.

I really wanted to love this place! I love the concept of a southern style brunch spot, haven’t seen one like it on the west coast. The waffle was amazing and delicious, yum. Everything else was pretty good. The chicken however was hilariously bad, as if they heated up frozen chicken tenders. Avoid the chicken but get yourself a waffle dish.
