I always thought the only thing missing from this beautiful town was a Jamaican restaurant. I was elated when I saw the Golden Krust “coming soon” sign displayed on the storefront banner. I frequent this restaurant sometimes twice a week since opening and was never disappointed until today. I was greeted and placed my order. I specifically asked for chicken breast because that is the only part of the chicken that I eat. I sensed that the young lady who took my order quickly became annoyed when I noticed that my meal consisted mostly of red meat. I kindly reminded her that I only want chicken breast, and she continued to place, the thigh, wing, leg, etc in the container with a rude attitude, basically telling me that my request could not be honored, to put mildly..This was never an issue prior to her working here (I deduced she is a relatively new hire). If it weren’t for YANNIQUE B., I would never patronize or refer anyone to this establishment again. Yannique de-escalated the situation, was EXTREMELY professional and helpful and was able provide me with the service I expected as a paying customer. That other young lady, no name tag, is EXTREMELY off putting and I refuse to be serviced by her ever again. Yannique is so pleasant and provides AMAZING customer service. Can’t say the same for the other server, she makes me want to never return. If I never had to deal with her, it would’ve been 5 . 1 star if Yannique B. didn’t take over.

Fresh flavorful food in huge affordable portions with some great vegan options too. Always a bunch of people ordering inside, so gave it a shot and have come back in person several times since. We just ordered delivery via Seamless, and everything was correct and hot and delicious. This chain’s location is a great addition to the area. Much love for this Caribbean and Jamaican food. We will continue to come back and spread the word. ❤️

So I just ordered some thing for breakfast. This is my second time at the restaurant. The first time there was a slight hiccup with the patties but either the owner or the manager tried her best to remedy the situation properly and did not charge me. Today I ordered fried dumpling and the codfish fritters with some oatmeal. The dumplin was good of course not as good as my mothers. The codfish fritters was A little on the doughy side but I think that they can perfect the recipe. The oatmeal was good. Not too sweet which is actually a good thing so that people could add to it but tasty. I’m glad they opened up this location. As they continue to work through new opening systems I will continue to purchase Caribbean food there. I think it’s a good option in the community. service was good. If you know Caribbean restaurants, service is not always thought of positively so if they continue to build on quality service they could have a winner in the community.

So I went to support the Jamaican community and I ordered tons of food so I could be able to taste different stuff. I’m going to be really honest I normally don’t leave bad reviews but after spending 40 dollars and none of the food being good I’m a little upset. Here is what I ordered. I got 2 Pattie’s one beef and one chicken. I legitimately could not tell you the difference in the taste or color of the meat. The one patty was supposed to be spicy and there was no spice at all. I ordered a large chicken soup that I just heat up and it is so salty I just trashed it. The salt was so much that even though I tried to still eat it as it cost 12 dollars, I just could not, so that was a waste of money. The final thing I got was the curry goat and that was ok. I will say that the staff was nice and friendly, but for 40 dollars and not having one thing be great, I think I will probably pass going forward.

The food was good but very expensive. I purchased a small oxtail and rice and a small chicken soup and it was about $32. The place had a.long line. It was a little crowded. No room to really move about. Service was fast. Place was clean and like I said food was good. A once in a while treat for me.
