Social distancing! Great wait staff. Good food and solid drinks. Who can ask for anything better? The “garage doors were open to allow fresh air too. I ordered the fish tacos and they were really good. I’d order them again. Loved the tater tots too!

Very nice staff, but the food was not worth the price. $13 for a club sandwich that only had a couple pieces of deli meat on it. It was so flat, I was expecting a triple decker club for the price. I could have made it better by going to Publix myself.

I had a burger, which was like 2 burgers because it was 2 patties served on a hoagie roll and sliced in half. The queso was good and the tortilla chips were fresh. The restaurant is much bigger than it looks from the outside. There is a large bar with sports and the waitstaff is friendly. One of Charlotte’s oldest restaurants first serving in 1933.

After 15 minutes of being ignored, while other tables received service we finally ask a waitress if someone would be by to give menus and take our order. The waitress snapped that someone was coming. We waited a couple more minutes to another rude waitress who dropped off Menus and took our drink order, but in very short manner.

This is a great neighborhood bar/restaurant and the food is quite good for bar food, but the old lady working behind the counter needs a lesson in customer service. If someone asks for a menu because the bartender is busy – you don’t tell them he’ll be right with you – you take 3 seconds to hand them a menu, so they can browse it whist waiting to be serviced. Also, when you drop their food off you don’t just walk away – you ask if they need anything else. These little things make a huge difference to your customer’s dining experience. Still giving 4 stars as I’m a long time customer and think it’s a great spot overall.

We had great service and the food was good. I especially loved the spinach artichoke dip. We also had the firecracker wrap, that was great and the kids ate all there food for icecream at the end. They have a classic icecream freezer stocked with strawberry short cake and pushpops! The philly wasn’t great, there’s probably better options on the menu but it was clean. This place is a classic. As a Charlotte native it’s pretty much a staple, enjoy!

Was so pumped to try a local place with such a robust menu. Unfortunately, the kitchen must have run out of seasonings. The sweet potatoes fries, sautéed veggies, fried parm slider, and avocado burger tasted so plain. They looked great, but the taste was so disappointing it didn’t even feel worth eating. May come back to try the drinks but advise others to eat elsewhere.
