I’ve been wanting to try Little Hats for quite some time, and it did not disappoint! You enter into a deli counter that reminded me a bit of NY, with specials posted everywhere. There’s a great selection of appetizers, salads, hot and cold sandwiches, pasta, desserts, and a case full of other treats and sides. You order at the counter and then receive your food in the main dining area, just past the retail section. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The young lady at the door was kind, and Kristin went above and beyond to make my experience special. Will definitely return.

Lara Russell-Lasalandra
As a “Lasalandra,” I can tell you that this place feels like an authentic Italian-American experience. The market is absolutely fully stocked with fresh/dry pastas, olive oils, flours, and everything else you’d need for good Italian home cooking.

Tried this little Italian deli for the first time. They atmosphere was kinda neat with the front counter space with the different foods on display. They staff was very friendly and was there to answer any questions you may have. My wife got the roasted chicken salad. It was pretty good but something about it made it seem like it wasn’t as fresh as I thought it would be. I got the chicken Parmesan which was a good choice. It was hot and fresh but I did get a piece that had a big piece of fat/tendon. The worst part was there was little to no air conditioning in the deli. We ended up outside because there was at least a breeze. Unfortunately, that turned into strong winds from a rolling in storm and we had to take cover. While a neat little place, it was just average for the food choices we made.

Man this place hit the spot. I was craving some good sausage and peppers and they absolutely delivered! So much flavor with the onions and peppers and just the right amount of sweetness. The sandwich was HUGE! Come with sweats on because you will be bustin’ out your seems after a meal here!

LA LA The Clown
Such a nice Italian market, good food, fast service, and very helpful service. Staff is friendly. The food is very good. Little pricey on sodas, but the food is nice. The noodles are thick, and have good texture. The sauce is nice, and the meat balls have a nice meaty flavor. They use real parmesan in the noodles. Today I got to compare Dr pepper, to Dr Brown soda. Both sodas are so close in comparison. But to be honest I like the black cherry flavor stands out more in Dr Brown. So Dr Brown is the better soda. Overall the food we had was a pici and meatballs. Definitely a really good flavor. Perfect for a lunch.

Incredible customer service and the best tapenade (freshly made for the Mortadella sandwich) I’ve ever had! Family owned and operated, this place made me feel like I was part of the family – after walking in! Meeting the owner Andrew & his extra personable staff, I mentioned that a friend & I had seen the place when previously dining in Germantown – and how glad I was to visit it. Andrew graciously shared some details of this locations’ rich history. With the original tiles on the floor, as it was previously a theater, this “Little Hats” has lots of big benefits to offer today! Large menu, fresh meats & cheeses, comfort with open high ceilings, a mouth-watering aroma, indoor/outdoor seating, dine in or to-go, free parking are just a few positives, not to leave out the array of imported Italian delicacies & perfect gifts ideas. I look forward to returning this week – to stock up on more of their delicious, “real” Italian eats!

You guys…. 10/10. I love that a spot like this opened in Nashville. Germantown is also becoming a very walkable area, which opens this up to be a stop among many.
