After a long late morning of shopping for bedroom furniture- my husband and I were hungry … Denver Biscuit was closed and I wasn’t in the mood for fast food so we stopped at Chook…. We’ll to my surprise the chef/owner was in and I asked what was his favorite and he recommended the Chicken salad BLT and boy was it tasty!! The lettuce had a wine vinaigrette bite to it that set the sandwich off especially with my extra crispy bacon!!! And I couldn’t do without something to drink – no Pepsi- but I had Coke to make it was down with my wedges!!! Great lunch – not feeling heavy but actually refreshed. Thanks you! Try the BLT sandwhich with the crunchy tasty sourdough toasted bread!!!! Yuuuummmy!

This is a great addition to the area. Quite a bit of seating inside and some outside too. The chicken is smoky and juicy. The sides are what get us though! The best street corn. The Mac and cheese is so creamy and yummy. The rolls are soft and fluffy. The falafel have a lot of flavor. Highly recommend and also would be great takeout. They have coke fountain drinks as well!

I absolutely love this place!! The food to price ratio is very well, considering the area of town. The workers are always smiling and look happy to be working. The restaurant is always clean with some nice background music. I love how everything is washable and no single use plastics. I can chow down a nice chicken breast and some mashed potatoes and feel full which is good. The food tastes amazing, no matter what you get. My favorite is the chook for you and the chook BLAT. I wish they would bring the chook wings back, they were delicious!! Cant say enough good things about this place.

Chook continues to be one of my enduring favorites since I discovered them. The roast chicken with the piri-piri sauce is spot on one of my favorite lunches alongside their mashed potatoes and gravy; far healthier than any fried chicken alternative (and man, I really wish this country would lay off on fried fatty foods) it’s been a nice change of pace.
