This place has a great vibe and absolutely stellar poke bowls. The beer selection doesn’t seem to be huge but it’s great, I found something new and very tasty. I had a great light dinner with family and we’ll come back the next time we vacation here. I have to admit I was not thrilled with the fries, but that’s mostly because they were different than I expected. They were a well-made side regardless.

Nice corner location with ample parking. You get transported to a cool hipster place without a care in the world. Merchandise greets you as you enter the first set of doors. It’s like an elevated tiki bar atmosphere. Service is nice and friendly. Jesse even gave us his number to contact as he had wanted immersive experience for his patrons where the island dance can be taught even just once at this cool place.

I dined in and ordered a poke bowl with a side order of coconut shrimp. The food was amazing. The staff was super friendly and provided excellent service. Definitely recommend if you are in the area!

Place was busy. The lady in front of me couldn’t wait any more, so she left. Servers were all over the place. Overpriced specially the poke. Poke sauce they use were overly sweet and sour also. $20 tsunami poke was not even halfway full. Tuna and salmon were rather moshed not plump. Caesar ono is a no-no. Chicken was dry. Food served looked to be on the messy side. Burger and sammy tasted good. Probably better if they were warm. The buns were smashed flat. I really don’t recommend this place, but I will try them again when they are not busy I guess.

Dined here Sat afternoon, lumpia is tasty, gnarly burger is cheesy and meaty, and chicken sammy is saucy and good. Fries are all right. There’s parking which is great, there’s an outdoor seating area. I will say the food is a bit on the saltier side.

Fun place with a local feel. Fast and kind staff. Has a good selection of drinks. From beer to sake. Again the staff work hard and are on the go. Due to what seemed to be lots of orders coming in. It’s just really nice to see a local place with nice food and that’s busy.

Jesse Wykle and team have captured the essense of ‘Ohana right here in Virginia Beach. An extensive menu opens up an island of tasty food. Spam creations, poke bowls and more are best complemented with a Hawaiian Sun for a refreshing drink. Staff is very welcoming and provides great service all within a super chill environment. I’ll be back with friends and family in tow.
