The Lobster roll was good but a little short on Lobster. The salad left a lot to he desired and the service was TERRIBLE! I stood in front of the counter while the employees debated who was going to help me. The girl was rude! Didn’t smile, didn’t greet us or anyone walking in. When you go into a place and pay $23 for just 1 sandwich I expect at least a smile and friendly service! The following photo is what $43 worth of food looks like along with 2 luke warm drinks from the refrigerator because the fountain machine was broken. I would love to recommend this place but the service will keep me from doing that.

Since I moved to SC from NYC, I was craving the Lobster rolls for a while. Finally found the best one near the Charleston area. It tastes similar to Luke’s Lobster roll. Always cons are Lobster is tasty but pricey.

I was on the hunt for a good lobster roll whilst in Charleston, Connecticut style, and found mason’s via a quick google search. My goodness was it good! The rolls were buttery and warm, and the lobster filled the rolls and had great flavor! In all honesty I could’ve eaten two but $20 or so is the max I’ll spend on a lobster roll. There are also a selection of beers and other non alcoholic beverages. You won’t be disappointed!

We have been here a few times, and the food is always very good. I love the lobster rolls. It’s $25 for one, and it is worth it. That price is consistent with or slightly less than other places we have been. It’s counter service which has always let us order fairly quickly.

Facility was clean and no issues with the staff but I wasn’t at all impressed with the lobster roll. The lobster itself tasted good but the bun was simply a glorified hot dog bun and very little lobster was used to make it. As a matter of fact, the bun wasn’t even fully opened to put the lobster in. It was just laid into the small cut in the top of the bun. I would rather pay more for a proper sandwich. I simply don’t understand all the good reviews. Not worth the price.
