Found this joint on Google Maps and it was the only BBQ near our hotel so we gave it a shot. The brisket was sliced a little thin for me but it had good Smokey flavor and was not dry. The collards were perfect with no grit and no stringy stalks. The green beans we good but could use a little something like ham or bacon and some salt and pepper. The smoked chicken dark meat 1/4 lacked any spice and was a little dry while at the same time falling off the bone and having good smokey flavor. Our server, Layla, was cheerful and helpful and made us feel right at home. I would come again.

Smoked Flavor on the Brisket and all meats is absolutely 2nd to NONE. OUTSTANDING menu options and variety. Let me say this though, the brisket is God. Burnt ends come in a sweet brown sugary sauce so if you like sweet, get burnt ends for sweet brisket.

Simple BBQ done well. I always appreciate it when you’re asked if you want the meat dry or sauced cuz typically if it’s drowned in sauce you’re not tasting the meat itself. Cole slaw was fresh and not overly creamy. Potato salad was well seasoned and cut to proper size. Brisket was tender and moist, no heavy smoke ring but still tasty. Ribs had nice bark on them and meat was moist. Nothing needed sauce. Waitress was attentive even though it was mid lunch rush

Love this place. The chickachonga is one of my favorite meals in all of metro atlanta. Their sauce is fantastic and BBQ is excellent. I have recently had their Brisket and Ribs. I still like my ribs better, they were still very good. It could just be ST. Louis v. Baby back. Their Brisket was absolutely best I have ever had.

Temperature in place was very warm. There was 7 of us. Two of us ordered the brisket. Neither of them could eat it. Too tough. We spoke to waitress about it. She gladly said she would bring a couple fresh slices. She returns with an empty plate from kitchen and informed us that “they” wanted us to return the meat off their plates that was not eaten before she could replace the tough meat. I told her that was kinda disgusting to return that meat to the kitchen. Way wouldn’t they just wait until we left to grab it?? We got our bill and left. I actually felt bad for the waitress. You could tell she was uncomfortable asking.

We have been there 4 times now. The fourth time is absolutely the last time we will be going there. Service was terrible, and we waited 20 minutes for our food. The order was 2 pulled pork sandwiches and 2 drinks. They were not crowded at all. Finally got our food, and the second bite was as cold as if it had just come out of the refrigerator. Another 5 to 10 minute wait after I carried it back to the counter.

It was my very first experience eating at Bub-Ba-Q My girl and I absolutely loved it, the food is amazing and had me really to relax and chill afterwards. Our host Stacy was Outstanding if you ever go there ask for her she helped us order with her suggestions and gave us the history of the company as well as other recommendations she definitely deserves a raise because she helps set to tone and made our experience so pleasant. We will definitely be back and next time I will bring our children ☺️.
